  • Peaceful!

"We enjoyed our stay in this eclectic cottage with its mix of old and new. We loved the prime location overlooking Lake Pepin and the many windows allowing a beautiful perspective. Thank you!"

  • we will be back!!

"Over the years our family has stayed at many vacation rentals, This one is among the best! Nicely located with a short walk to restaurants, coffee shop and waterfront. Hosts were easy to contact, and interact with. The facility was large and accommodating for all 14 of us. Beds were comfortable, Everything was VERY CLEAN and stocked well with extra linens, sleeping bags and inflatable mattress if needed. There was even a closet of toys for young children, very kind. We loved all the Christian wall quotes around the home. The hot tub was perfect temp and CLEAN, a welcome change from some places we stayed. The outdoor space was just the right size for us and it had enough seating ! bonus :) the only thing I would change is the directions of the entrance location, small confusion between my GPS and the web page."

  • Clean and Relaxing

"Renting this VRBO was a breeze. The owner was very easy to work with, friendly, and organized. The home itself was very clean and had a great floor plan for a VRBO. The yard was great for games and the patio was perfect for a wonderful night of a campfire under the stars. I highly recommend this home and owner for anyone looking for a stress free vacation option. Be sure to check out the Harbor View Cafe which is only a 10 min walk away, right along the shores of Lake Pepin. The Nelson Cheese Factory in nearby Nelson is another great place to eat and visit."

  • Wonderful Cottage Get A Way

"Cottage lived up to it's description and then some. We three long time friends found it to be spacious and cozy at the same time, modern and quaint, very nicely decorated, well equipped, very clean and in a great park like setting. The kitchen is bright and airy, sun room was great for morning coffee, deck and fire pit looked nice but due to weather and mosquitoes we settled for fire in beautiful stone fireplace. Much attention has been paid to making the most of the space while providing all the comforts of home. Bathrooms were well stocked, modern and roomy with plenty of hot "shower power". The surrounding area is great for exploring, every small town had something going on to enjoy. We wished we had planned an extra day or two, but it was a great get away for relaxing and catching up. We had breakfast at at Wild Chickadee in Lake City and ended our day back there at Nosh for dinner. Both excellent! Chuck was very easy to work with, provided directions to cottage, which is off the beaten path, and "fact sheet" for using facilities. We experienced a little trouble with door key lock but resolved that quickly. The only suggestion we would make is to provide a fire extinguisher and we did not see a smoke alarm.Otherwise we would highly recommend and would return!"
