  • Beautiful views..noisy...and perfume smells of cleaning too much

"With some tweaking and a fold out couch for overview room it would be perfect"

  • Lovely Spot to Relax

"We had such a nice time at Eagles Nest. Perfect for a group of girlfriends. The lovely cabin is very comfortable spacious and well stocked for what we needed. We played board games, drank wine, had a bonfire and you can't beat all the fun in the Hayward area. Your lake is a perfect distance....definitely not in Hayward but a quick drive to shopping, dining, golf, walks in the woods etc. Hope to be back again."

  • Fantastic cabin

"We spent 6 days there with family from Minnesota. We had a total of 6 adults and 4 children. The cabin is spectacular, period! It was clean, more than big enough and has that real classic "cabin" look while being modern. The finishes and moldings are very well done. The pictures, although nice, do not do it justice. The owner really takes great care in having the property completely ready for your arrival. Fresh linens, towels, and stocked bathrooms make it so that you can start enjoying the place as soon as you unpack. Plenty of pots and pans for cooking. gas bbq, etc. The paddle boat was used several times a day. To just walk on it and paddle out to the middle of the lake at any time was so cool. The kids just loved it! The private little beach was a lot of fun and the lake is crystal clear. I cannot say enough about this place. We had a great time and would absolutely rent it again!!"

  • Glorious Getaway for Labor Day weekend

"My wife and I arrived late Friday evening at Jerry & Ann's place. We were then personally guided by Jerry driving ahead of us through the unfamiliar darkness on the short but curvy road to the cottage. The cabin is remarkably clean, with a mid-twentieth century rustic feel but well updated and appointed. The view of the lake and the property's water frontage present a relaxing atmosphere, as does the wooded lot and the neighbors' timber on either side of the yard, creating welcome privacy and quiet. A complete up-north accommodation, just pack your bags and a few groceries, and enjoy Soo Lake like we did. We can't wait to return."
