  • Girls Weekend

"There were seven of us girls. The cabin was well equipped with everything you could possibly need. We love the décor, seating arrangements in the dining/living area were wonderful also. This cabin is close to the casino and just a short drive in the Hayward. I would recommend this to anyone. We can't wait to book again!"

  • Beautiful place!

"Wow, this is an exceptional place! We had my husbands family together here for a milestone birthday celebration. We are a large group with children and adults and this house accommodated us so very well. We played pool and foosball, cards and board games. We cooked all our meals here and found the kitchen appliances to be higher end and well appointed. We even enjoyed a outdoor fire in the winter. Can't wait to come back!"

  • Beautiful condo in a remarkable setting

"Sheila's condo was the perfect place for us--very clean and confortable, with a good queen sized bed and an astoundingly well-equipped kitchen...Plenty of linens are provided. It was spacious for the two of us, but would have been comfortable for four since both sofa and loveseat open out. The wifi was free and fast. The amazing location was upstairs from a bakery, coffee shop and restaurant, and art gallery. The living room picture window (which was spotless) has a view of the bay, complete with ferry, sailboats and sunsets. Right across the street are several shops, including kayak, bike, and moped rental. Up the street is "Tom's Burned Down Cafe"--a very unique local hangout. The back porch looks toward the woods and the sunrise, and has some patio chairs and a table...the photos on the site capture it nicely. Sheila is a great VRBO host. Our email was answered within a few hours. She has placed many thoughtful extras--safety and first aid supllies, toiletry samples, as well as books and travel guides. I sincerely hope to return to the island, and to Sheila's!"

  • Relaxing Getaway

"The cabin was a very quaint, small, perfect place to stay for a getaway for two people. There are two rooms with double beds. I think it would have felt crowded with more than 2 people. Our original reason for the getaway was to see Copper Falls, which we did, and was beautiful. What we enjoyed more about the trip was Morgan Falls, only a few miles from the cabin. There is no cell service, so make sure you have addresses before getting to the cabin to all the places you want to go, and a GPS with you to populate the addresses in. There are a lot of gravel roads when you get to the area, so be prepared for a dirty car. All appliances were in working order, the listing was as described, and I would go back to the area. The rate of the cabin was good. If we went with something pricier, the furnishings would have been more updated and modern, but who cares? This was the perfect little place. The rating would have been a 5, but the piece that was missing is the key that was provided for the cabin did not work to the front entrance. We did not try the key on any of the other outside doors. The door was unlocked when we got there and the key was inside. I wasn't too worried about anyone taking any belongings, but it was something to be aware of."
