  • Wanna get away and connect with family?

"If you wanna get away and connect with family in a place that is soooooo beautiful- this is it. Tons of fun, no stress, stuff to do. World-class fishery out the front door. Great little river towns all around and all the comforts of home in the cabin. Wanna eat out? Lots of choices. Wanna cook at the place you're staying? Everything you need is there. Quiet and peaceful- great place to stay on the Mighty Miss! We will be back for sure!"

  • Cozy Condo with great riverside view

"My wife and I stayed at this cozy condo for our anniversary. This was $40.00 less expensive that a similar condo being offered by the historic hotel in town, and had the amenities that a condo offered so we booked it straight away. Entering from the river side, the kind of tricky sliding glass door lock posed an initial challenge, but once we got the hang of it, it was OK. The deck had a BBQ grill, table and 4 chairs, and some nice decorations just steps from the docks and the Mississippi River. The kitchen was well equipped, including full stove/oven, a Kuerig coffee maker with 3 coffees (more would have been great!), a complimentary bottle of wine, and a nice view of the river. The attached living area included a fireplace (we couldn't get it to work but that may have been our fault), futon, mini counter with two stools, cushioned chair with footstool and flat screen TV. The bathroom had a full tub & shower, complete with towels and soaps and a hair dryer. The bedroom had a very comfortable queen bed and space to hang clothes (we chose not to for such a short trip). The condo was very clean and well maintained and we felt very comfortable! The condo is really 4 blocks from he heart of downtown but it's about 50 feet from Slippery's, the tavern made famous in the movie Grumpy Old Men. There is even a paved private outside staircase from the group of condos to Slippery's, making it very convenient to go out for lunch or dinner. Parking was plentiful and the few neighbors in other condos were friendly. It was very fun watching river barges and tugs going up river as well as other smaller fishing boats. We even saw an eagle from the deck - an added bonus after visiting the National Eagle Center earlier in the day. Although the condos was a bit more expensive than other rooms in the historic hotel in town, we felt we got more for the price and really enjoyed our stay! We would recommend this condo to our family or friends should they be looking for lodging in Wabasha!"

  • Zeigler Rd.

"Very nice farm house. We'll equipped and maintained. Screendoor/stormdoor needs to be replaced. It doesn't close tight, thus allowing for flies and mosquitoes to enter. Overall, a very nice rental."

  • Spacious and clean

"Our family really enjoyed staying here for 3 days and 2 nights. Linda was in regular communication with us leading up to our reservation, and when we walked through the doors we knew we were staying at an ideal location for our 3 generation get together. From a 1.5 year old toddler to grandparents in their 70s, this house was truly a home. We really enjoyed the spacious dining room and kitchen. We will most likely stay here again if we plan another trip to Lake City"
