"We loved this house! Plenty of room for the 5 of us. Very clean and the decor is fabulous! We will be staying here again."

  • * Great Place *

"This house/cabin is a great choice for a smaller family to enjoy the sights, sounds, unique dining and entertainment in the Brownsville area. As many of the other reviews suggest, the house is very clean and well equipped. The owner, Dan, was fantastic too. I like the boat idea someone else suggested but, for us, just a boat dock would do the trick. :-)"

  • Another Great Stay!

"Back for our second year in a row on our annual trek from New Mexico to Wisconsin. Enjoyed our stay and the great weather....highs around 90! Plenty of train activity on the BNSF and had an opportunity to take a Mississippi River cruise! Hit the local bar for a few drinks, something to eat and watched part of the Packer game. The patrons there are always so welcoming. Did some cooking....my wife really enjoys the wonderful kitchen. Aimee is great to work with and keeps the house immaculate. Will be back in 2016!"

  • Great location and fun, roomy space.

"Nicely remodeled huge loft with full kitchen, pool table, ping pong table, TV, video games, modern washer/dryer, deck and tons of beds. Responsive owner. Walk to everything. No WiFi and limited cell data speeds but our cell phones worked for voice/texting and the library down the street had wifi inside, in the lobby (open 24x7) and even on the bench outside. Walk up to Hosmer Park (entrance just several blocks) for a good workout and great view of river valley from top of bluff. Great massage place (Lansing Soap Co) just one block away."
