  • Comfortable home along the Mississippi

"We visited the Lansing area to witness bird migration along the Mississippi. The river cabin is very clean and comfortable. We didn't use the deck, but it would be a wonderful spot to watch river activity on a warm day. The kitchen is well equipped, the rooms spacious and the beds comfortable. Brad was very welcoming and accommodating. The place is easy to find. We didn't have cell service unless we ventured into town, but this wasn't a huge problem for us. We would return again. It would be a beautiful spot to enjoy fall colors too!"

  • Seven sisters weekend getaway

"Seven sisters stayed at The Valley cabin. It was just what we all needed. Very secluded, beautiful inside and out and very clean with a great hottub that six of us fit in comfortably. Comfortable beds, plenty room for all of us to sleep and a fully equipped kitchen too. The pictures were exactly how the cabin was too. One suggestion would be to have a blender to make some drinks. We had beautiful fall weather and visited some wineries in Iowa and Wisconsin and went gambling in Marquette, a horse and carriage event in Prairie Du Chien and enjoyed some nature walks. Having some lawn chairs to use at the fire pit would be a great addition too because when traveling in one vehicle, there is no room for anything extra. It was a beautiful place to unwind, laugh until our cheeks hurt and just enjoy the peace and quiet of God's beauty, with no children, husbands or schedules to follow. Thank you so much. God's richest blessings to you. We hope to come back again sometime soon and would recommend to friends and family too. Cindy Augedahl, Caledonia, Minnesota"

  • Christmas in the Driftless!

"Spent Christmas at this cabin and we agree it will be the Christmas to beat! Snowshoed, hiked, cooked great meals and enjoyed the solitude this cabin offers. It was neat as a pin and had everything we needed. The upstairs loft is a perfect place to read and relax. The hot tub was amazing and the beds comfortable. Such a cozy inviting environment inside and the scenery can't be beat outside. We brought a DVD from the library about the history of the Driftless Region and learned what an ecologically unique place it is. The owner is top notch to work with, responds quickly to questions and is very accommodating. This place offered us pure relaxation!"

  • Excellent choice!

"This place never ceases to let us down. We have been here for 3 years in a row now. Clean, private, away from the hustle and bustle of work and traffic, plenty of room to spread out, both indoors and out. Love it here! Thanks Joel and Jenny!"
