  • Middle School Grad Getaway

"To celebrate their middle school graduation, I took six soon-to-be 9th graders to the Creekside Cabin for a few days of "just us boys" fun. We had an incredible time. The fellas had 3 on 3 battles with airsoft guns all around the creek area and did some fishing in Lake Arbutus. We had fires and s'mores, tossed the football around, and walked the woods for hours. The Creekside Cabin couldn't have been more perfect for what we needed -- and stayed nice and cool even when the temperature was in the mid-90s outside. Jennifer Pulley, the owner, couldn't have been easier to work with. What a blast. I'm hoping to do it again with the same group of boys some time in the future."

  • Great quiet get away. Away from the everyday grind and hustle, bustle!

"The Amish cabin provided us with a quiet, AWESOME stay in the woods. The owners were very helpful and prompt with all communications. The cabin was clean, comfortable and we had all the kitchen wares to cook for ourselves. We (our dog included) loved sitting on the porch swing! There is a lot to do in the area especially for the outdoorsy types. We bought groceries at Gordy's mkt. in BRF-great local store with great prices and super customer service. Went into BRF for hand scooped local ice cream at Mocha Mouse. We had a great meal at Castle Hill Supper club. We will definitely be back for another visit."

  • Perfect weekend getaway!

"We stayed in Pheasant Cottage during a last minute weekend getaway. The cabin was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate four people. We enjoyed the hot tub, but most of all the beautiful views of the lake. If you are looking for a quite, off the grid place to go, look no further! It was wonderful to unplug from the world for a few days and re-connect as a family: fishing, smores around the fire, and walking the trails. Brian was understanding and very gracious in helping with my last minute reservations. We had all we needed, thank you! We are hoping to return during the summer to spend some time on the lake and then again in the fall."
