  • Great views and a wonderful place to stay!

"Our stay was a girls get-away weekend for friends who grew up together and it was just delightful thanks in part to everything this rental has to offer. The accommodations were perfect for the three of us, but certainly could easily have held more if needed. The scenery in all regards was spectacular with a great view of the river not only from the property and porches, but from the inside through window and patio doors as well. It is also surrounded by peaceful woods and despite there being some homes nearby, it really gives you the feel of wilderness. The cabin is nicely appointed, very clean, comfortable and welcoming. I would highly recommend this rental as it has so much to offer. Thank you Eric, to you and your family for providing such wonderful accommodations!"

  • Perfect weekend getaway!

"We stayed in Pheasant Cottage during a last minute weekend getaway. The cabin was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate four people. We enjoyed the hot tub, but most of all the beautiful views of the lake. If you are looking for a quite, off the grid place to go, look no further! It was wonderful to unplug from the world for a few days and re-connect as a family: fishing, smores around the fire, and walking the trails. Brian was understanding and very gracious in helping with my last minute reservations. We had all we needed, thank you! We are hoping to return during the summer to spend some time on the lake and then again in the fall."

  • Another Great Stay!

"Back for our second year in a row on our annual trek from New Mexico to Wisconsin. Enjoyed our stay and the great weather....highs around 90! Plenty of train activity on the BNSF and had an opportunity to take a Mississippi River cruise! Hit the local bar for a few drinks, something to eat and watched part of the Packer game. The patrons there are always so welcoming. Did some cooking....my wife really enjoys the wonderful kitchen. Aimee is great to work with and keeps the house immaculate. Will be back in 2016!"

  • Great family get-away!

"We had never been to this part of Wisconsin before and didn't really know what to expect, but we were so pleasantly surprised! The cabin was wonderful and just as described--super clean, very well appointed and private. Our 3 kids loved playing video games and watching movies! Our favorite part of the cabin was hanging out on the porch early in the morning before the kids were up...so peaceful. We went fishing down on the local river, tubing on the Wisconsin river, visited Taliesen and house on the rock, and enjoyed absolutely beautiful drives on the nearby country roads. We definitely recommend this home for some peaceful, fun and very special family time away! Thank you!!"
