  • Spacious, modern, and comfortable

"It was a quick 1 hr from the Twin Cities for us. We arrived using the owner's suggested route and found the property easy to located. By accident, our group caused the entry keypad to lock. I contacted the owner and had a reply with a solution in less than 5 minutes. We were surprised and happy to find some amenities provided: eggs, sauces, ice, frozen drink mixes, and frozen cookies, to name a few. The home was playing music throughout the 3 stories. There were nice touches added by the owner to explain electronics and confusing remotes. The home is well suited to large group. We were mostly inside due to the cold and bitter wind, but we did take a walk around the 40 acres to get some fresh air. We very much enjoyed our short weekend visit. I highly recommend this lodge for groups of all ages."

  • Amazing sunsets right on the water

"This worked out quite well for us and the views over Green Bay were amazing. There's a nice playground for kids, and awesome fire pits with chairs overlooking the water on each side of the duplex. My cautionary note is that the stairs are very steep with bedrooms upstairs and bathrooms on the first floor (one on each side). If you need to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, it's a bit daunting. Nice grills and a great location. Loved the area."

  • Great location with gorgeous outdoor space!

"My five former college roommates and I had a reunion in Lake Geneva at this welcoming, comfy, incredibly beautifully decorated home! Just to give a sense of the place when you move around the house you find little wooden signs here and there that greet you with little fun quotes. It's so inviting! There were several spots where we could all gather together and we used them all! From the charming living room, to the large cozy couches downstairs-perfect for movie watching, to the incredible outdoor space complete with a pretty pergola covering beautiful outdoor couches and a propane fire table as well as a wood burning fire pit with 4 Adirondack chairs. The only downside was that there was no gas in the propane fire table. If there had been I'm sure it would have looked spectacular! We weren't sure where to get it, so we didn't bother, but if you stay make sure to have some. The outside added a complete extra living space. It was heavenly and we spent most of our time out there. The kitchen was very well stocked and clean (although it needs a can opener LOL!). We made nearly every meal and had plenty of room to eat either downstairs at the large table for 6, the kitchen table for 4 or in the outdoor space. There were 2 very nicely appointed full baths and it worked out fine for six women. So, it shouldn't be a problem for anyone else! Haha! There was one queen bedroom and the other two bedrooms had bunk beds in various mattress sizes. All very comfortable. There was also an air mattress available. We all felt we would not recommend more than 8 people sleep there, unless they are kids and can sleep on the floor. Since we are adults, even bunk beds was a little tough. The property is very close to downtown Lake Geneva with it's beautiful scenery, beaches and one-of-a- kind shops. We drove and it took less than 5 minutes on a very busy Saturday. One could easily walk there. All in all we all concluded we loved it and would definitely recommend this beautiful home to others. The owner was very kind and even checked in on us to make sure we had arrived and were satisfied. If you stay here you won't be disappointed! It's a little gem that's been carefully cared for and it shows!"

  • Great Vacation Home

"We had a great time in this home and would definitely recommend it. We only stayed for a couple of nights to celebrate a birthday (my husband, myself, and teenage daughter), but would not hesitate to return. We really enjoyed the basement with the pool table, game table, and darts. Beautiful view of the lake from the living room area. We didn't use the hot tub because of the cold weather, but it looks great. Herner's Hideaway which is close by has great casual food (sandwiches, etc). Overall we had a great time and would rent again."
