  • Multiple visits to Aspen Creek, all have exceeded our expectations!

"My snowmobiling group and I rented all 3 units in a total of 2 visits this season. Each unit is unique and accommodates different sized groups nicely. Each unit was clean, comfortable and luxurious. The kitchens were nicely stocked with cookware, utensils and spices to handle any home cooked meal we could prepare. The onsite cleaning lady was very nice and helped us promptly when we needed a specialty pan for cooking or more towels. Before coming here I read some of the reviews, some of them negative and here is my response. Complaint: The wifi stopped working after a the morning. Answer: You are traveling to the wilderness! Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon and AT&T do not get cell phone coverage out here in 99% of the mountains unless you are in the State Forest parking lot across the street and then AT&T and Verizon will work. Wifi worked just fine for checking and responding to emails before heading out for the day. We will be back next year, thanks again Paula!"

  • A Great Place for Sledders or anyone looking to enjoy the hidden gem of the Snowy Mountains

"Stayed here with a group of 6 guys to snowmobile the snowy mountains. We always take one or two trips out west to Wyoming or Colorado a year to snowmobile, but we usually stay at ride-out accommodations. We were worried that driving up the mountain each day would be an extra chore. It turned out to be a great decision to stay down off the mountain. We slept at a lower elevation (the house is around 8,000 ft and the range is mostly 10,000+) so everyone was refreshed and it was only a 10 minute drive up to the parking lot - about 15 if a storm was rolling in (which it did for the second half of our trip). The sleeping arrangements were comfortable for 6 and the bathroom layout was fantastic (we were a little worried that having only one facility with 6 guys would be an issue). The toilet, shower and sink are all in different areas so it was really like having three baths. The heated shop connected to the unit was great for all of our gear. Each guy had plenty of room to dry out wet coats, boots, gloves, helmets, pants and gear bags. Fortunately we didn't need to drag a sled in to do any repairs, but it was good to know that was an option. The in-floor heat was a little tricky to adjust so as to not overheat the place through the night, but we figured it out rather quickly, and but the second night everyone was sleeping in a comfortable temperature. Finally Keith and Renee were fantastic hosts. They checked in to make sure everything was ok, and Keith even rode with us for a couple days showing us some new spots we hadn't been to up on the mountain. We look forward to staying with them again!"

  • Great trip!

"I feel like I really need to post that the pictures for this cabin do not do it justice. It is set up perfectly to accommodate a large group/family with the large kitchen and dining in the center of the cabin, a living area with fire stove, a second small living/seating area, an office, and a huge mud room with couch. There are three terrific sized bedrooms with full size beds, a nice bathroom, and outdoor area with grill. We had 6 adults, a 4yr old, an infant, and two dogs and it was more than enough room for an awesome family Christmas together. The only inconvenience was that we had no idea the store/gas station is closed for the season and the cafe was closed every day except the night we drove in. Completely understandable since it was a holiday weekend, it just would have been nice to know in advance and there was no mention on the website or confirmation email. Thank you so much to the owners! It's was a wonderful Christmas in your lovely cabin."
