  • Rustic comfort in the Wild West

"First of all let me just say that the sunrises are amazing! This place has it all! The panoramic views over the multi-hued badlands to the endless mountains beyond lend a sense of the expansiveness of the Wild West of old. The house is well appointed, clean and comfortable, with an open yet cozy mountain lodge feel. We had a wonderful time checking out Dubois, and the surrounding countryside. On the nearby National Forest we saw Elk, Bighorn Sheep and Antelope."

  • Top Shelf Accommodations

"We have been going to Union Pass for 15 years now, and stayed at just about every spot on top of the mt. We discovered Warm Springs Lodge 6 years ago, the location, the amenities, the attitude and willingness of the owners to welcome us into their home ( this is a home not a cabin) is unprecedented, and is what keeps us coming back year after year. This is like being at home with the mountains in your back yard."

  • Great winter getaway.

"Great house. Lots of room. Great heaters upstairs and downstairs. The kitchen is well stocked and the location is awesome. It truly was a wonderful winter getaway treat. The snowmobile trails are close as is the Crooked Creek Lodge which serves great food and drink."

"My husband and I have been visiting Dubois for about 13 years now and have stayed in various accommodations depending on the size of our family group traveling with us. This time it was just the two of us. The Carter cabin and property were perfect for us ... roomy for two and immaculate ... well equipped in every way. The views were spectacular and the resident Mule Deer as entertained by us as we were by them. They waited for the blinds to go up every morning so they could watch us. Having private access to the Wind River was a dream come true for my husband. He was in the river morning and evening. We loved the proximity to the town and the multiple day trips we took to Brooks Lake, Warm Springs, Horse Creek, East Fork, Whiskey Mountain, The Shoshone National Forest and Jackson Hole. We would definitely love to stay again in the future! Doug and Lisa from Indiana"
