  • I wouldn't stay anywhere else!

"This cabin is everything you could want! Located in a charming and friendly town with great people, shopping and restaurants. This is the best choice for staying in a cabin close to town and NO big crowds. It is a little bit of a drive to Yellowstone, but it doesn't seem like it because the scenery and wildlife you see on the way make it so enjoyable. We saw a family of raccoons, mule deer and the cutest little bunny living under the side porch almost nightly at the cabin. Sleeping with the windows open and listening to the sound of the river was so soothing! You won't believe the view from the cabin! Pictures do not do it justice. The cabin was so clean and the beds and furniture so comfortable. It was very hard to leave this cabin. I would love to return again and would recommend it to anyone!"

  • Quiet secluded home

"Enjoyed our 3 night stay at house on horse creek road while visiting Teton and Yellowstone parks and Jackson, Wyoming. Walked the streets of Dubois one night and took home pie from local cafe. Kids enjoyed large yard. Home was well furnished."

"My husband and I have been visiting Dubois for about 13 years now and have stayed in various accommodations depending on the size of our family group traveling with us. This time it was just the two of us. The Carter cabin and property were perfect for us ... roomy for two and immaculate ... well equipped in every way. The views were spectacular and the resident Mule Deer as entertained by us as we were by them. They waited for the blinds to go up every morning so they could watch us. Having private access to the Wind River was a dream come true for my husband. He was in the river morning and evening. We loved the proximity to the town and the multiple day trips we took to Brooks Lake, Warm Springs, Horse Creek, East Fork, Whiskey Mountain, The Shoshone National Forest and Jackson Hole. We would definitely love to stay again in the future! Doug and Lisa from Indiana"

  • Great Base Camp

"We had a pleasant stay at the Fly Fishing Hideaway. It is a great place in a beautiful setting. To the south are mountains and to the north are the beautiful badlands (we were not aware of how big the badlands are here!). There is a large deck next to the river, which is a great place to have coffee in the morning and unwind in the evening. We saw dear coming through the yard almost every day. The home is spacious with everything you need for a nice time. There are lots of good restaurants in Dubois. The Friday night rodeo is a must - it's quite entertaining! It's also a great base camp for going on day trips to Yellowstone, the Tetons and Jackson Hole. The drive to these places is beautiful. We had a great time! Bev & Tom LaDuke"
