  • Great location, beautiful views--mixed thoughts

"We arrived after a few light snowfalls, snow melted but parking lot in front of the condos was a muddy mess with warning cones in the deepest puddles. This is probably an HOA problem, but needs to be addressed. The condo was comfortable and quiet, carpeting a little soiled and wrinkled. Great fireplace, but after a long day driving it would have been nice to have a few sticks of wood for a welcoming fire --unfortunately none there. The views were wonderful and we could hear the stream nearby. Deer walked by the porch while we ate breakfast, and a tiny beautiful ermine (weasel type critter) inspected the deck one evening. Coffee maker unnecessarily complex and the heating plate on it didn't heat--the directions were useless and the resultant expensive coffee we had purchased was terrible.. VRBO owners need to keep things simple and this was a frustration. Finally rigged up a filtering system to make coffee. The heating system also was complicated--why not just a thermostat to turn off, on or adjust--as a result of not being able to set it, we ran the heater much more than we would have simply because we couldn't adjust the thing. Lovely dishes carried out the moose motif, and there were lots of pots and pans and glasses. Bathroom and shower was well designed, complete with washer and dryer. Location was convenient to Jackson, WIFI worked well.... but probably time for some paint and general maintenance. The Stiegler Austrian restaurant in the same complex was outstanding."

  • Our time there was nothing short of amazing. Perfect for two old smoothies.

"The breath taking scenery of the surrounding area overwhelms you. The condo was very nice and clean and comfortable. Rustic. Maybe a little dated but exactly what we wanted. Beth is very generous with her paper products and towels and linens. We had everything we needed and then some. We enjoyed the views that surrounded us and at night we enjoyed the crackling fire in the fireplace. The place is lousy with Moose. We went for a walk every morning and evening around the complex and only once did we not see Moose in 6 days. The day we left there was one 40 feet from our back porch laying down. On another occasion there were two Moose laying 5 feet from someones back door like pets. Being from Georgia we had never seen Moose up close and personal or at all for that matter. My wife wished she could see a moose and boy did she get her wish. I ask her to please not wish to see a grizzly bear. It was a grand experience. Once when walking we spotted a hulking black shape in someone's yard roughly the size of a Mini Cooper. Now knowing there are bears in these parts my heart palpitations increased somewhat from the first day we arrived when a female Moose stepped out in front of us on the neighborhood road and began eating a tree. After quickly analyzing the hulk on the ground I realized it was a Moose and not a Grizzly Bear. The panic mechanism in me subsided a bit as we continued our walk, me, nervously looking back and forth to see if we we're being stalked by Moose or worse. My eyes Scouting ahead for trees with low limbs to climb just in case and being 60 years old hoping I could still climb a tree if necessary. We did see a black bear from the safety of our car in The Grand Tetons National Park. Also, Prong Horns, Mountain Goats, and Elk. Wyoming, Jackson hole, the grand Tetons, are the most beautiful and maybe our favorite places that we have ever been and We cannot wait until We can return. I will be working on my tree climbing skills until then."

  • Superb property, perfectly located.

"Easy access to National Parks, local attractions and all outdoor activities. My wife and I found the cabin very clean, comfortable and functional. Didi, was extremely helpful and had maps, insights and gear necessary to make the stay successful. We would recommend the cabin to friends in a heartbeat."

  • Very Nice cabin in Wilson WY

"Property listing was very accurate regarding amenities, etc... Very well stocked kitchen utensils, and glassware liquor cabinet !!! Property was well maintained and had a very comfortable feel to it. Alot of windows to look outside a plus !! Updated bathrooms and wash room area. Enclosed garage was nice. On-site contact was great with communicating any questions we had - which were very few !!!! Responses were sent within the hour Would recommend to anyone, with party of 6 and any ages. Plenty of room to relax and enjoy. Excellent proximity to Grand Teton National Park (Lower Moose Wilson Road), town of Jackson Hole, Teton Village ski area and JH airport etc..... All just a matter of minutes. Airport Off-Site rental car agency very nearby was handy, as we rented larger vehicle for a few days. Bike trails, hiking trails, etc.. also very accessible to location Wildlife in area was highlight. Moose were very active in area and even had them in cabin yard and nearby creek, in the early mornings."
