  • Moose heaven

"Just returned to Florida after a month in a Wyoming paradise. This historic lodge was a perfect get away. Private and serene but within easy driving distance of The Tetons and Yellowstone. The owners are caring and considerate. The wildlife and beautiful vistas are beyond description. A trip for your bucket list."

  • Condo with wonderful views

"We loved this condo. The view of the mountains and trees were awesome. Snowed in the mountains overnight the first night we were there. Was thrilled to see snow on mountain tops. Love the window seat. Great place to read and nap. Very clean and neat. Thank you"

  • Met our Needs and As Described

"This condo is pretty much as shown in the pictures. It's an older condo that was updated somewhat recently (my guess is about 5 years ago or so). Everything inside was clean and adequate for our needs, but the bedding needs an upgrade (as pointed out in other posts). The W/D in the unit was a nice convenience. The Aspens is centrally located, kind of between Jackson Hole and Teton Village - if you need a good home base for sight seeing the whole area, this will work. You will need a car for just about everything since there is not much within walking distance. This was not really a problem for us. One complaint is that the outside areas are dirty. In front entry area at the top of the steps is covered with cobwebs and the exposed railings have bird droppings. Same with the back patio, plus the outside furniture was dirty. The driveway and parking area (which is most of the view from the back) are unpaved gravel. We did have some difficulty finding parking a few times, although the condo next store was under construction and that may've been the problem. In summary, a fair value."

  • a true home away from home

"Owner Mary Ann has thoughtfully and thoroughly furnished her beautiful condo for the comfort of her guests. For hikers, or anyone enjoying the beautiful JH scenery, coming "home" to this condo each day was a real blessing. It has all the amenities one would need: organized place for coats and boots, very comfortable King bedroom , full bath with double sink, lovely shower, washer, dryer and-the best on a cold morning- heated floors! Then there is a great galley kitchen with full stove/oven, Bosch dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and plenty of counter space for cooking (which we did) and new stove vent. Our favorite portion of the condo was the inviting living/dining and patio areas. From the large windows, we were able to view wildlife "up close" and we enjoyed the sun streaming into these spaces in the afternoon. The location of the condo is on the last street of a nicely maintained residential area, interspersed with green spaces, homes and condo buildings. There is a very nice upscale general store (Aspen Market) within walking distance (we purchased some delicious chicken brauts). GTNP Moose Entrance station is in close proximity too. Two of our favorite restaurants, The Calico and Nora's, are a short drive away. In short, this location takes one away from the commercialization of Jackson and provides quiet, serene surroundings. All manner of creatures find this location pleasant; on our last morning, we watched an adult cow Moose rest on the lawn to the side of the unit. Mary Ann was very easy to work with and helpful. The place was spotless as well. We look forward to a return visit sometime soon."
