  • Beautiful property in ideal location

"Five Montana sisters stayed for four days in this lovely townhome, and we recommend it highly! It's in a peaceful, beautifully landscaped complex with many hummingbirds gracing the flowers and trees. It's also extremely convenient: about a 10-minute drive to Jackson. The home is beautiful, with a terrific hot-tub on the lower deck and a perfect upper deck from where I saw about ten meteorites during the Perseid Shower. It's an odd floor-plan, which threw us for a few minutes: 2 bedrooms downstairs, but the kitchen/dining/living areas and another bedroom upstairs. We came to like that setup quite a lot. We had a slight problem with the thermostat and heater in one bedroom; we called and an extremely nice young guy came to work on it within the hour (on a weekend night, well after 5). (The issue didn't get fully resolved, but we didn't need the heater at all after that, and left a note when we departed.) We were exceptionally comfortable here. Thanks so much!"

  • Met our Needs and As Described

"This condo is pretty much as shown in the pictures. It's an older condo that was updated somewhat recently (my guess is about 5 years ago or so). Everything inside was clean and adequate for our needs, but the bedding needs an upgrade (as pointed out in other posts). The W/D in the unit was a nice convenience. The Aspens is centrally located, kind of between Jackson Hole and Teton Village - if you need a good home base for sight seeing the whole area, this will work. You will need a car for just about everything since there is not much within walking distance. This was not really a problem for us. One complaint is that the outside areas are dirty. In front entry area at the top of the steps is covered with cobwebs and the exposed railings have bird droppings. Same with the back patio, plus the outside furniture was dirty. The driveway and parking area (which is most of the view from the back) are unpaved gravel. We did have some difficulty finding parking a few times, although the condo next store was under construction and that may've been the problem. In summary, a fair value."

  • Great

"Eight of us from Chicago stayed at this house for five days and had a great time. We hiked every day and thoroughly enjoyed having the hot tub to use when we got back from a long hike. We made all our meals in the kitchen that was very well-equipped. With the two seating areas there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and the dining room table held all of us comfortably. My one suggestion would be to replace the mattress in the room where the bed is against the wall because it was fairly uncomfortable. Also if there is a way to reconfigure that room it would be helpful as it was difficult to get in and out of bed for the person right next to the wall. All in all it was a great house. We even saw a baby moose with her mother and a Bullmoose right in the neighborhood! Thanks Ian for providing a wonderful vacation home."
