  • Location is great!!!!

"Great little cabin, its small but perfect for two. Everything worked, its very clean, the view and the quiet is just what we wanted. The people on the site were very helpful, kind and you didn't know they were around until you needed them. We would rent this one again. Silver Gate and Cooke City pace is slow and easy."

  • Our time there was nothing short of amazing. Perfect for two old smoothies.

"The breath taking scenery of the surrounding area overwhelms you. The condo was very nice and clean and comfortable. Rustic. Maybe a little dated but exactly what we wanted. Beth is very generous with her paper products and towels and linens. We had everything we needed and then some. We enjoyed the views that surrounded us and at night we enjoyed the crackling fire in the fireplace. The place is lousy with Moose. We went for a walk every morning and evening around the complex and only once did we not see Moose in 6 days. The day we left there was one 40 feet from our back porch laying down. On another occasion there were two Moose laying 5 feet from someones back door like pets. Being from Georgia we had never seen Moose up close and personal or at all for that matter. My wife wished she could see a moose and boy did she get her wish. I ask her to please not wish to see a grizzly bear. It was a grand experience. Once when walking we spotted a hulking black shape in someone's yard roughly the size of a Mini Cooper. Now knowing there are bears in these parts my heart palpitations increased somewhat from the first day we arrived when a female Moose stepped out in front of us on the neighborhood road and began eating a tree. After quickly analyzing the hulk on the ground I realized it was a Moose and not a Grizzly Bear. The panic mechanism in me subsided a bit as we continued our walk, me, nervously looking back and forth to see if we we're being stalked by Moose or worse. My eyes Scouting ahead for trees with low limbs to climb just in case and being 60 years old hoping I could still climb a tree if necessary. We did see a black bear from the safety of our car in The Grand Tetons National Park. Also, Prong Horns, Mountain Goats, and Elk. Wyoming, Jackson hole, the grand Tetons, are the most beautiful and maybe our favorite places that we have ever been and We cannot wait until We can return. I will be working on my tree climbing skills until then."

  • Outstanding Owner

"We have been trying to get cross country friends together and visit Dubois for the past 2 years. Unfortunately, we have had to cancel both trips. The good news is the Owner has been wonderful to work with, and we will try again for another stay at this home!"
