Varenna villa rentals

Villa Marena was absolutely perfect for our family. The house is beautiful and charming, perched on a hill overlooking the lake. It is filled with rosemary bushes, grape vines, and fruit trees. Our children barely wanted to leave the property because they were so happy exploring the yard and feeding the ponies up on the hill. It is outside the crowds of Bellagio and feels like a private oasis. Zero complaints.

What an amazing view! The house is spacious with just the right amount of privacy between rooms and levels. The dining room, kitchen and outdoor seating area offer lots of different options for eating. The attention to detail and the beautiful furnishings and paintings make you feel really at home.

Look no further. This Lake Como villa was a dream! Host, Francesco’s hospitality was above and beyond! The villa is everything the photos show & more! The views are spectacular & town of Argegno is so quaint! Umberto prepared the most delicious birthday dinner with the help of Claudio. Must do! Paolo’s boat tour of the lake was so wonderful, with stops at Bellagio & Varenna! We can’t wait for our return! Ciao Francesco, until next time!!

Location of property was perfect - quiet yet close to the jewel of Lake Como, Bellagio. Property views were exquisite. We enjoyed a fire every evening. Every window was like a painting view.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.Das Haus hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen und der Gastgeber war sehr zuvorkommend. Es gibt einen kleinen Lebensmittelladen auf der anderen Straßenseite, was sehr praktisch war. Nicht weit von Bellagio entfernt, das mit dem Bus oder der Fähre erreichbar ist, die gleich die Straße hinaufführt.

Our stay here exceeded our expectations in every way. The home is beautiful, immaculate, and extremely comfortable. It's located in a small hillside village with character and history - we loved it. And I have to say, Marcus truly sets the bar for all hosts. His communication was timely, helpful and spot on. He even made reservations for us at a local restaurant our first night there at Locanda San Martino, which I highly recommend when you stay here. It's a 1 minute walk and it was one of the best meals we had in our 2 week tour of Italy. All in all, staying here was the best VRBO experience we've had. We (all 4 of us) can't wait to come back and spend more time.
