  • The cabin is in a lovely location right on the shores of the lake.

"The cabin is in a lovely location right on the shores of the lake. We had everything we needed and were very comfortable. We wished we could have stayed longer and explored the farm a bit."

  • Location and Privacy!

"My husband and I stayed here the last week of June-and would return in a heartbeat! It is located less than a 2 minute walk from an excellent beach where we spent much time swimming snorkeling and relaxing. Our host, Stuart, picked us up from the airport and stopped at a grocery store on the way to the cottage so we could get supplies. You do not need to buy any paper products or condiments and Stuart has 5 gallons of potable water in the cottage already. He lives next door so is quickly available if needed but never arrived uninvited or unannounced. He knows LOTS of people so if you rent a car (we did) talk to him first. We enjoyed Ardastra Gardens, just minutes away, and also recommend the drive to and the restaurant at Compass Point. The bedroom loft would be the only drawback here if you are unable to take stairs, otherwise staying here feels like being in the community rather than being in a generic resort."

  • Lovely Villa in a Lovely Location

"This Villa was very well laid out, and had plenty of room. The open floor plan allowed us to socialize easily, even when some people were cooking. The second floor sun room was a particular favorite for early morning beach viewing and relaxing. The direct access to the beach was also a huge plus. The beach itself was spotless and we enjoyed our daily strolls. The two golf carts provided were very popular, and everyone loved carting around the colony watching birds and alligators enjoying the ponds. I'd also recommend visiting the nearby Hobcaw Barony and visiting the Hammock Shops in Pawley's Island for your non-beach days adventures. Overall a wonderful vacation."
