  • Great rental, especially for the kids.

"We had very good stay here at this home! There was plenty of room for the kids to ride the bikes that are on site, run around and play in the very large yard. It was only a short drive away from silverwood theme park. The only downside to our stay was that the water ran out on us a few times during our stay. Just something to keep in mind. But over all we would definitely rent again!"

  • Great Place

"My husband and I recently stayed here as a mini Kid Free vacation. It was perfect! The condo was great, we loved the location and the owners were very informative. We had no issues during our stay. Definitely recommend it to other and will probably book again next year and bring our kiddos this time. Thank you for a great time!"

  • Excellent historic cottage in great location

"Our family of four stayed at Karla's over New Year's 2015 for a ski vacation. As other's have mentioned, the location of the cottage is fantastic if you wish to be in town. It was a short walk to the shopping, restaurants and bars of Elk, and the town bus stopped at 3rd and Whiterock, which is about 25' from the front door. We used the bus every day to the ski area and it was super easy, even for our 8 year old in his boots and carrying his skis. The local grocery store is only 3 blocks away, along with the liquor store. We didn't use our car the entire trip. The house is small, but you should expect that from an historic mining cabin. The kitchen is very well provisioned and the owners have done a great job decorating. It gets warm in the 2nd floor loft when using the wood stove, we had to crack a window. Alpine Getaways, the rental agent, is great, highly recommended."
