  • First Time in Cabo

"This home is absolutely beautiful. Greg, the owner was there when we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed. He also offered to take us to the store to pickup groceries and even helped us unload them. Groundskeepers work daily making sure everything stays beautiful. Pepe at the swim up bar makes awesome drinks and his shrimp tacos are delicious. Kristen, who works for his property management company was extremely helpful making sure we had transportation and activities planned. We can't thank her enough. Taxi's were readily available and provided great service. I would recommend this place to anyone. We stayed 5 days, and we can't wait to go back. :) Kenny and Tammi - Texas"

  • Beautiful cabin and location

"We had a wonderful vacation at this beautiful log cabin located on scenic Bass Lake. The cabin was impeccably clean. The kitchen was stocked with every possible cooking utensil. The recreational room in the basement provided lots of entertainment with the pool table, shuffle board and arcade games. Bass Lake is a clear beautiful swimming and fishing lake. We enjoyed being able to launch our boat and keep it tied to the pier for the week. Excellent fishing including Bass and Perch. Eagle River is a great location with plenty of state parks with beaches located nearby. Also, little shops and restaurants to enjoy. The only draw back to this cabin is the restriction of linens. We were not able to comply with washing, drying and making of all beds before check out of 10 am so we opted to bring our own linens. This was not ideal and a bit stressful to worry about bringing all of our own sheets and bath towels. Additionally we were expected to vacuum and sweep and since this is a large cabin we spent the last night cleaning. The renter is prompt with communication and easy to contact."

  • Beautiful Setting!

"Our group of five women from the east coast rented the Grape Escape as our home base for a wine country excursion. Happy to say, we had a great time! The house is not only gorgeous on the outside, but also spacious, beautifully appointed, and very comfortable on the inside. When we walked in we were greeted with a bottle of home-grown Zintensive Care and a vase full of Calla lilies from the garden. Then we looked at the rest: The fully-appointed modern kitchen, the roomy bedrooms, and the three full baths. Everything we needed. In back there was a porch, patio, hot tub, and lots of seating to take in the view during the day, and the stars at night. The property is on acreage, and was perfect for taking daily walks down the long driveway and out to the country road. We were surrounded by rolling hills, gardens, and grape vines everywhere. In fact, the owners, Carol and Virgil, grow Zinfandel grapes on this vineyard land for one of the nearby Dry Creek wineries--and make a pretty fine private label, too! Our hosts live just down the road, and it was a pleasure to meet them (and their dog Kallie) and talk to them about the area. Carol gave us good advice on local wineries and restaurants in Healdsburg and the area(along with places to avoid), and Virgil wowed us with a fantastic private barrel tasting and tutorial in his "cellar." The two of them really made the trip so memorable. Cheers to them! Hope to be back someday.."

  • Great base for a North Shore vacation

"I stayed here for two weeks with my husband, two young children, and my mother in July. The condo is clean and the kitchen is equipped. The washer/dryer is always a must-have when traveling with the kids. The kids bedroom is on the upper floor and the two adult bedrooms are on the lower floor, which I was worried about at first but ended up working out just fine. The location is great and the passes to Burnt Cedar Beach with the fabulous kiddie pool were a great perk. We bowled, mini golfed, took nature walks and explored the local beaches and ice cream shops. My mom and I went out to play billiards one night and my husband and I got a date night at the Old Range Steakhouse, an old favorite. The only advice in the negative dept that I will share, if renting in the summer, is to bring a couple fans if it's going to be hot, which we did and it was. The nights are lovely but the upper floor needs some help sucking that cool air in. The fans were especially helpful for the little ones napping in the afternoon (it happened to get up to the upper 80's the second week). The owners responded immediately to two minor issues that popped up and were extremely helpful so we could get back to enjoying our vacation."
