  • Perfect place to stay and enjoy the wine country

"I currently live in Atlanta, Georgia but grew up in Sonoma county. My husband and I were attending a wedding and wanted to stay close to the winery where it was being held. After looking at hotel pricing, I started searching VRBO to see if there was any thing local. I happened to stumble across the Perfect Place to stay. This Loft is centrally located in downtown Cloverdale, accessible to all the local restaurants and businesses within a few steps of your front door. Within a short drive, the selection of Sonoma/Alexander Valley wineries are endless. My husband and I enjoyed picnics up on the deck with a bottle of wine, fresh baked bread from the bakery down the street, with perfect weather including a cool breeze The Loft accommodations are clean, tastefully decorated, with lots of room to stretch out and be comfortable. All my friends were jealous that we were able to stay in such a nicer place than the local hotels. I definitely recommend The Loft and can't wait to come back!"

  • Fabulous condo... Fantastic owner... A+++

"We have nothing but positive to say about our stay at 305N Oceanhouse! The condo itself is beautiful...tastefully decorated, fully equipped, and well maintained. High quality... from appliances to linens and everything in between! The kitchen is well stocked with the pots and pans you would have at your own home... nothing cheap. The furniture and bedding is very comfortable and the newly renovated bathrooms are great. Views of pool and ocean are fantastic! The owner, Art, is very responsive and kind, quickly answering any questions that we had. There were NO problems with this well maintained condo, but, if there had been a problem, I am confident that Art would have been quick to resolve. Indian River Plantation is a great place for vacation and we highly recommend this condo in particular. We certainly hope to go back! Thank you, Art!"

  • Awesome Place - great staff

"Melvin picked us up at the airport and had cold beers waiting for us. The staff met us at the house and were super attentive and kept the place spotless. Catherine and Emlio were great and made us some really good meals- I would highly recommend getting breakfast made every day. Keep in mind that the property is a little off the beaten path and it takes about 15 to 20 minutes to get to Jaco by cab. However, the place is so big and the property is so nice we spent a lot of time at the house. The place has Internet and you can plug your phone into the speaker system for music out by the pool. Prepare for an insanely steep driveway when you get there. However upon arrival at the top of the mountain where the house is, the views are breathtaking. I would note that the beach if not necessarily in walking distance but rather a short five minute drive down the hill to Playa Hermosa. Keep in mind that the waves at Playa Hermosa are quite sizable, so if you plan on going surfing and you've never done it before I wouldn't recommend starting out here. I tried to go out there for my second time and didn't last very long. If you are going to get liquor to bring to the place I would suggest getting it at the airport, because the stores in Jaco really didn't have much. There's plenty to do in Jaco. Also, don't bother getting the local currency, everyone will take American dollars if you have them. We took a day and Melvin drove us to Manuel Antonio national Park where we went zip lining and also did a wave Runner tour. That was well worth the trip. Angelo's place was really nice and we plan to go back next year. One last thing for anyone planning to come down here. Don't bother packing any longsleeve shirts or any closed toe shoes. All we needed to go out was shorts and T-shirts and flip-flops. It was at least 90° every day and very hot at night as well. Some of the restaurants in Jaco did not even have air-conditioning. So pack light, you certainly don't need to wear a lot of clothing in Costa Rica!"

  • Excellent Stay

"Our family had a wonderful time staying in the condo. To say that the property is conveniently located is an understatement. We enjoyed looking out the french doors and directly across to the funitel to gauge how long the lift lines were before we would head out to ski. The unit itself is maintained in great condition. And, you have access to all of the amenities of Squaw Valley Village. We hope to stay again."
