  • Visitors from Salt Spring Island BC delighted to stay at Sunset Kahili

"We loved staying at Sunset Kahili 101. It is bright, cheerful, tastefully appointed and completely modern. The sunsets were wonderful, as were the rainbows. We could see the expanse of the Pacific and watch whales breaching from the lanai, the pool is just below #101, and it is a short and entertaining walk to a number of beaches and hiking trails, with seals, sea turtles and birds, including great places to snorkel. We grilled dinner on several evenings and watched and listened to the ocean as we dined. It's an easy drive or walk to old Koloa, where there are great shops and restaurants. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. An off-street parking spot comes with the rental."

  • Great home to rent.

"Excellant location. Near amenities and the beach, yet far enough away to be quiet. An excellent well equipped home. Very clean. The owner was very pleasant and helpful before arrival, as were the hosts after arrival. Large family home. We were 9 people and with the addition of 2 rollaway cots for the kids, everyone was very comfortable. We would come here again with no hesitation. Thanks for a great stay."

  • A Place Made for Creating Memories!

"We were so lucky to be able to book the Lily House for our girls trip. Having never been to Gulfport we didn't know what to expect and the pictures of this home are spot on. It is gorgeous. There were 5 adult women in our group and it can be difficult to please everyone but this place did. The layout is speculator with the three bedrooms upstairs all being connected, yet private. The master bedroom downstairs is spacious and separate. One amenity that we all loved were the multiple places to sit outside whether on the deck, in a swing in the front yard or the hammock out back. The owner David was accessible yet left us to ourselves which was the perfect combination. He was super easy to get a hold of when needed and very accommodating. As a recommendation for Gulfport I would definitely suggest spending the money to take a ferry to Ship Island if you want to have a beach day with clean water and a little adventure. We saw tons of locals bringing empty coolers and catching crabs to take back! So cool as there were a lot of crabs. There is a nice creepy fort there to explore as well; Fort Massachusetts. If you drive in either direction along the coast you will find some neat restaurants to try and we really liked Ajax. Bottom line, this house is spacious, in a great location and private. You can see and walk to the ocean from the home so you won't regret renting."
