  • great view and close to nice strip of beach!

"we stayed here 8 nights, myself and 2 daughters 8 and 9. it was a nice change from our usual hotel situation. we did need to wash towels once while there but other than that we had enough of everything. there was one boogie board and we purchased another which we left with another guest visiting with kids when we left. the patio faces the ocean and sunset just as described and a small strip of beach for walking and kids to play in sand/water. advise water shoes as alot of small rocks in water here but still nice and wish we had more time so we could have spent more time at the condo vs. running around the island. parking was a bit tight so dont get a huge rental vehicle. the master bed was a bit firm for me but i do have a bad lower back. the kids had a single bed each vs. having to share one and a shower rod was in shower to hang wet bathing suits from so that was nice. a longs drug and mcdonalds and panda express right up the street. we did the molokini snorkel tour with the pacific whale foundation -highly recommend., also did the maui gold pineapple plantation tour, tried to do road to hana which i know is excellent but almost at top and was told a mud slide with no eta so had to turn around and go back down. :( i would definetely do home away again and stay at dons condo again and if you have a late flight out check with AA condo if you can get a late checkout--i found out about this later but a great idea for those with later flights. we hit the walmart near the airport for groceries before ever going to the condo to stock up. only negative was at the pool when another guest or renter or owner rudely told my girls if they wanted to splash then their was an ocean for that while he was frying himself in the sun to which he could have easily moved his lawn chair to the grass outside the pool if he wasnt planning on swimming b/c what are pools for and swimming does require some splashing --believe he was on the 2nd floor on the same side as our condo but that was luckily our last day there or i would have had words......thanks much for letting us use your nice place with beautiful views and close to ocean!"

  • Great apartment, great location

"Really great apartment - extremely convenient, being right by, and above, hotel Le Druos at the top of the front de neige pistes. The apartment overlooks the front de neige, so it's sunny plus there is a little balcony. The little table actually pulls out to seat six, which worked out well when we had friends over. Everything in order in the apartment as far as equipment is concerned, and the owners provided us with a new wifi router when the previous tenants reported that the other one wasn't reliable, which worked very well and was fast. There is a little local parking, but not much, and a navette stop right outside the apartment block. Plenty of room inside the apartment, with cupboard hanging space. There was a Nespresso machine which was great as you can get the coffee pods for it in the local Sherpa supermarket. All appliances worked well, although we had trouble working out how to use the dishwasher, which was quite complicated but worked fine once we had pressed the right buttons. Everything was fitted out well, and the clic-clac was comfortable. The owners were really friendly, communicative and helpful. Getting to the pistes was super easy - ski in, ski out to piste with Cow Club right opposite. Would definitely rent this apartment again - have stayed many times in Isola 2000, and this was easily the most convenient property we have ever rented here."

  • Great location! Spectacular view! And very cool house!

"We only stayed 3 nights, but would definitely recommend this as a great location to spend any length stay on St. John. Nina lives right there next door and she designed this very cool West Indies style bungalow. The house was very clean and with nice detail going into the design and décor. There was also access to snorkel and beach chairs which we put to good use, as well as kayaks down by the small beach below the house which we didn't get time to use in the adjacent cove. Located near Coral bay, this house is on the quiet side of the island, but there are a few dining options ranging in price, with our favorite being Skinny Legs for the beach bar style atmosphere and burgers, plus there are small groceries on that side. Make sure to stock up on bottled water for drinking, as with many Virgin Island properties, the tap water is via rain cisterns. Access to the amazing north shore beaches is convenient, with Maho, Cinnamon, and Trunk (get there early to park) all providing great views, calm clear water, and amazing snorkeling. It's about 30 minutes to Cruz Bay where the ferries dock, along with the plenty of shopping, dining, and car rentals."

  • Babcock Family

"The Oregon coast is one of my families favorite beach spots. & after this week I wouldn't want to go anywhere else! We had an amazing week here with tons of food, card games, bonfires & relaxation. We even saw Bald Eagles & whales multiple times from the amazing view in the house! There was plenty of space & a loaded kitchen with everything we needed. Sad to be home, but so thankful for the incredible memories made at this house. With love from Colorado & Washington, the Babcock, Wells, Hogan, & Till families."
