Fairfield House - Oceanfront Century Home

Fairfield House is a fabulous traditional Island century home located directly on the ocean with a commanding view of Augustine Cove and the sea.
Southern exposure makes this south shore location and beach one of the warmest on Prince Edward Island. At low tide sandbars are exposed-leaving shallow tide pools that are warmed by the sun. This natural playground is perfect for swimming, walking and exploring; it is ideal for children.
Located centrally with easy access to Summerside, Charlottetown, the Confederation Bridge and beautiful Victoria-by-the-Sea, which is just next door. Numerous world class golf courses within a short drive as well as live theatre and excellent dining.
Fairfield House is located in a small community of private summer homes. The house has been lovingly restored and equipped with every modern amenity. The four bedrooms are spacious and easily accommodate large, comfortable beds. However the home's most spectacular feature is its tranquil oceanfront location, with the sea just steps from your front door.

Every picture on the web site and description is accurate. Spent a week Sept 2011-Oct 2011 in this fabulous house. You could not ask for anything more. Well stocked, wonderful beds, lovely vista's, beaches that made you never want to come back in the house. Quiet, serene, easy to get to other places. Thank you for having us Sue and Alan.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

"The house was so well stocked! there was nothing we needed, felt right at home. The kids said it was the nicest place we had ever stayed. Spent alot of time on the beach walking & swimming; walking around Charlottetown & Victoria (ate at the Landmark Cafe & Sea View takeout); everyone we met was so friendly...found a baby squid on the beach!"Did you find this review helpful? When it rained really hard, all of the children (5 in total), entertained themselves in playing throughout the house. Thank you for paying attention to detail.
