Getaway...to Everwell Bay, a quiet escape on lake Coeur d'Alene! This wonderful lake front cabin retreat is in Everwell bay, a small quiet bay situated just to the north of Mica Bay and to the south of Kidd Island Bay only a 10 minute boat ride or 15 minute drive from downtown Coeur d'Alene.
Our lake retreat boasts 150' of lake frontage. It has a huge lawn to the lake and is nestled among giant Idaho white pine and shady cottonwood trees. This rental consists of the main lake front cabin which comfortably sleeps five and an additional detached studio cabin which sleeps two more. Water and wildlife abound!
The main cabin has bamboo flooring, rock accents, breakfast bar, and most fixtures and appliances found in much larger homes. It is about 700 sq ft, light and airy with a ceiling fan and windows all around . The downstairs living area provides a comfortable queen futon, additional seating, dining table & chairs. There is a full kitchen completely equipped for cooking, serving and eating and a bath with a shower. The cedar paneled upstairs loft provides sleeping for 3 more with one queen and one twin bed. Linens and towels are provided.
The additional detached studio cabin is situated 300' behind the main cabin just up the drive. This cabin is straight out of the 1950's, and it is rustic, but very clean and functional. It has a daybed with trundle which sleeps 2 and has its own kitchenette and bath. This cabin is also fully equipped with linens, towels, dishes etc. This smaller cabin does not rent separately - it is only available to those who rent the main cabin.
Our lake front retreat is adult, kid and pet friendly - enjoyed by all!
Deer graze on or about the property daily. Around the lake expect to see geese, ducks, bald eagles, osprey, beaver, turtles and of course fish. Amongst the towering pine live woodpeckers, grouse, squirrels, swallows and occasional tree frogs.
By day, relax in the hammock under a shady tree or sun bathe on the dock. You can swim, fish, use the paddle boat, play horseshoes, croquet, volleyball, badminton or go to town and explore all Coeur d'Alene has to offer!
By night, outside the wood is cut and stacked ready for your use - make a campfire, sing songs, tell campfire stories, roast s'mores or move Inside to play games, read, or watch movies.
For the kids and the young at heart the lush lawn provides a large area for pitching tents or sleeping under the stars. Trailers and RV's will be considered.

We had a great time. The cabin was spotless and fully stocked for our needs (kitchen, indoor games, outdoor games, grill, etc.) Our five year old loved playing in the lake and we almost got our dog swimming. The directions were helpful and we couldn't of had a better Labor Day Weekend getaway.Recommended for: Pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Good morning Linda, Thank you so much for sharing your great cabin and the prompt return of our deposit. We just loved being there and seeing the deer, wild turkeys and the other wild life. Just wanted to say thanks for the great time we had at your cabin... The weather, the lake, and all the wildlife were awesome, and the kids really enjoyed it... Dear Linda and Scott, I just wanted to let you know that my daughters and I really appreciated our stay at your rental home in Everwell Bay during June. I had wanted to leave you a note of appreciation at the home before we departed, but I ran short on time. And my schedule has been very busy since I have returned from our stay in Coeur d' Alene. Perhaps my busy schedule contributes to my true appreciation for your home. We really enjoyed those simple yet important features that your home has to offer- sunning ourselves on the deck, snoozing in the hammock, and sipping on coffee while watching the morning light reflect on the water.
