Location: Carova, Northern Coast & Outer Banks, Coastal, North Carolina, USA (8 Miles North of Corolla, N.C. on the Outerbanks)

Accommodations:  Beach House, 6 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 5.5 Baths (Sleeps 13-15)

This is an elegant house with many lavish amenities to enjoy. The Anchors Hold sits on a hill and has the highest elevation of any home as far as the eye can see. Don't be surprised if you walk out of the front door and find wild horses munching on grass next to the private pool

This semi-oceanfront house is located in Carova Beach which is part of the all wheel drive section of the Northern Outer Banks. A 4x4 vehicle is a must. There are two grocery stores located about 20-30 minutes from the house. Linens will be provided for no extra charge (sheets and towels). The house is rented from Memorial day through Labor day.

  • We sit in the midst of a wild horse sanctuary, home to 90 Spanish mustangs. They visit regularly, but local ordinance requires us to stay at least 50 feet away from them.

  • Pet Friendly: We must approve your pets in advance, but as pet owners ourselves, we understand the importance of vacationing with pets in a wondrous setting.
  • Minimum Age Limit for Renters: Children most welcome, but we require responsible adults over the age of 25 to assume responsibility.
