Traveling across the country with grandparents and three small children in tow, we were pleased to find this property so clean, inviting, and comfortable. We spent two weeks here in June of last year and were very happy with our experience. Nancy was kind and helpful, and the location to the beach was just a short stroll through the park along Electric to get to the pier. It's wonderful to stay in a "small town" in California and still travel easily to local attractions. We love Seal Beach and look forward to returning as soon as we can!

My husband and I, along with our 3 small kids stayed in this beach house and were were beyond pleased with everything! The house is even nicer in person than it looks in the pictures, and when we arrived it was clean and inviting. We do have an infant, so we were very pleased to see a high chair there and although we didn't know ahead of time, there is also a pack n play also. There was a great welcome basket there with great goodies for all of us after a long drive. We are definitely coming back to enjoy another vacation here...our favorite spot so far!

June 2011 We rented the upper unit this year, last year we rented the lower unit. Summer 2012 we are planning to rent both units for a great family vacation. The property is spacious, elegant and centrally located to everything. It is also kid friendly because we had three young kids with us. Nancy is a great owner and tries really hard to make your experience wonderful. The property was clean and beautifully decorated. I recommend an Angel's game, Disneyland or Knotts Berry Farm, take a leisure harbor cruise or day fishing trip out of San Pedro.

My family and I just returned from renting this beautiful 3 bedroom place and we had an amazing time with an amazing place to stay! We were in town for a family wedding and we are previously from Seal Beach and to be able to rent in our hometown was a plus! The unit was immaculate and comfortable. From the beautiful kitchen to the cozy beds, it truly was a great place to spend a week! It fit 6 adults and 2 children comfortably (with a little rearranging during the week!) Someone else mentioned it, but it is bigger than it looks online and the street is peaceful-very beach town without too much random traffic! We would definitely consider renting it again!

We rented this place for my fiance's family visit to California. Although it has been a while, we have such great memories, I wanted to write a review. There were 4 adults and 1 child and the two of us that stayed there often, though we lived nearby. There was plenty of space. Everyone loved it and felt really comfortable and at home. We had a few questions during our stay and the owners were very responsive and helpful. The welcome basket was very nice. Seal Beach is a great, relatively off-the-radar family-friendly beach town. Close enough to all the major So. CA sights, but with enough great amenities close by that aren't too crowded. All in all the only downside was this was one of our very first VRBO rentals and set quite a high bar!

My family and I stayed at this rental property and LOVED IT! There were 7 of us, 4 adults and 3 kids ranging from 7 months to 4 years. We were able to visit many surrounding places and attractions such as LA, San Deigo Zoo, Disneyland, downtown Seal Beach, the beach and MUCH MORE! I definitely recommend this rental place to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in California. It was a well-kept, clean and very organized, which is exactly what the write up describes it as. The owner left a basket of goodies and wine, which was very nice. We were completely satisfied with the rental home and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

This is a great place to bring your family for vacation! My sister and I took our family vacation together this year and we could have not have chosen a better spot! We were 30 minutes to all of the amusement parks (Disneyland, Knott's Soak City, Balboa Island) as well as the airport and downtown Los Angeles, Hollywood, Rodeo Drive, and Beverly Hills, which was nice because we had 3 children ages 4 and under and we had to commute back and forth to the parks for nap time. We were also about 20 minutes away from The Pike in Long Beach, Chinatown, and Santee Alley, which were all on our "to do" list for this visit. We also LOVED the downtown Seal Beach shopping area as we were able to eat, shop, and play at the beach without feeling crowded or out of place with kids. We had 2 massive strollers and all of the businesses were accommodating and happy to have us in the area. The unit is larger than it looks online and the owner left us a fresh vase of flowers, a bottle of wine, an expensive trail mix and crackers, and a fruit bowl - which we devoured the first night we arrived after a 5 hour flight! I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to California and looking to relax and still take in the sights. We were busy everyday, but in the evenings, we were able to relax on the patio while the kids were in bed and enjoy the beautiful California nights.

If you want to have an absolutely magical vacation full of family, sandcastles, shopping, surfing.... you have come to the right place! Every detail has been accounted for from the beach towels to the blender in the kitchen. The beds are very comfortable and the bunkbeds and Wifi in the kids' room is a perfect space for the kids to go when not on the sand. The beach property is literally minutes to the sand and Main Street. Enjoy shopping at Sweet Jill's and all of the boutiques and especially the local shell shop. Seal Beach is a locals beach, free of partying and chaos that the other SoCal beaches deal with. The owners are extremely thorough and absolutely top notch! This summer we stayed here on our son's 7th birthday and when we opened the fridge, the owner had purchased cupcakes with a candle wishing him a Happy Birthday! Stay once and you will stay here again and again. Summer vacations just doesn't get any better than this!
