Overall, my family had an excellent time. The unit was clean, well-done, and more spacious than we anticipated. All of our preliminary questions were answered in a timely manner. You can easily walk to the beach, and the community provided a relaxing feel. We took the kids to Disneyland (about a 15-min drive) while we were there, and did a daily walk to the beach and the downtown area. We certainly felt recharged after the week. Additionally, having a covered parking space added to the comfort of the experience. We will definitely look to do this again next year and hopefully make it an annual trip.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children.

We had a wonderful stay at this well appointed duplex. It is exactly as pictured. The kitchen had everything we needed for meals in. The apartment was well laid out, bright and open. We took advantage of the weather and opened all the windows which created a cross breeze throughout. The owners provided beach towels, chairs and toys. That was a plus! It was an easy walk to the beach and to charming Main St. where there were plenty of options to shop and eat. We very much enjoyed the laid back family atmosphere of Seal Beach. I would come back and stay here in this house in a heartbeat. Thank you!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children.

Traveling across the country with grandparents and three small children in tow, we were pleased to find this property so clean, inviting, and comfortable. We spent two weeks here in June of last year and were very happy with our experience. Nancy was kind and helpful, and the location to the beach was just a short stroll through the park along Electric to get to the pier. It's wonderful to stay in a "small town" in California and still travel easily to local attractions. We love Seal Beach and look forward to returning as soon as we can!Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children.

My husband and I, along with our 3 small kids stayed in this beach house and were were beyond pleased with everything! The house is even nicer in person than it looks in the pictures, and when we arrived it was clean and inviting. We do have an infant, so we were very pleased to see a high chair there and although we didn't know ahead of time, there is also a pack n play also. There was a great welcome basket there with great goodies for all of us after a long drive. We are definitely coming back to enjoy another vacation here...our favorite spot so far!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children.

June 2011 We rented the upper unit this year, last year we rented the lower unit. Summer 2012 we are planning to rent both units for a great family vacation. The property is spacious, elegant and centrally located to everything. It is also kid friendly because we had three young kids with us. Nancy is a great owner and tries really hard to make your experience wonderful. The property was clean and beautifully decorated. I recommend an Angel's game, Disneyland or Knotts Berry Farm, take a leisure harbor cruise or day fishing trip out of San Pedro.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers.

My family and I just returned from renting this beautiful 3 bedroom place and we had an amazing time with an amazing place to stay! We were in town for a family wedding and we are previously from Seal Beach and to be able to rent in our hometown was a plus! The unit was immaculate and comfortable. From the beautiful kitchen to the cozy beds, it truly was a great place to spend a week! It fit 6 adults and 2 children comfortably (with a little rearranging during the week!) Someone else mentioned it, but it is bigger than it looks online and the street is peaceful-very beach town without too much random traffic! We would definitely consider renting it again!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We rented this place for my fiance's family visit to California. Although it has been a while, we have such great memories, I wanted to write a review. There were 4 adults and 1 child and the two of us that stayed there often, though we lived nearby. There was plenty of space. Everyone loved it and felt really comfortable and at home. We had a few questions during our stay and the owners were very responsive and helpful. The welcome basket was very nice. Seal Beach is a great, relatively off-the-radar family-friendly beach town. Close enough to all the major So. CA sights, but with enough great amenities close by that aren't too crowded. All in all the only downside was this was one of our very first VRBO rentals and set quite a high bar!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.
