This large near-ocean five bedroom home is located only five rows and less than a five minute walk to the beach. Located at 181 Mooring Buoy, it is set in a quiet part of the less crowded Mariners section of Palmetto Dunes overlooking the lagoon. The three level home is spacious with large open living areas and two separate sleeping areas. The pool overlooking the lagoon is heatable for an additional fee.
As you enter from the front staircase, the spacious, open and airy living area is in front of you. The back wall of sliding glass doors affords a scenic view of the pool and lagoon beyond framed by palmetto palms and pines giving you the feel you are in your own paradise. The living room has a sofa and loveseat facing the TV/VCR/DVD and stereo. There is also another seating area with two chairs and an ottoman for relaxing and a separate corner with a chair and ottoman providing a quiet place to read.
Off the living room is the spacious, well equipped kitchen with an island and a walk-in pantry. A breakfast bar with four stools separates the kitchen from the dining room. The dining room is also open to the living room and has a table and eight chairs. Doors from the dining area lead to a terrific screened porch with seating for six around a table, two lounge chairs and a loveseat. A ceiling fan provides a breeze anytime of the day. A door from the porch opens to the expansive multi-level decking overlooking the pool and lagoon. There is plenty of outside seating for relaxing around the pool and watching the wildlife in the lagoon.
This tri-level home has three bedrooms on the lower floor and two bedrooms on the top floor with the living spaces in between. Downstairs, you will find a bedroom with a queen bed, TV/VCR and great pool view. This bedroom uses the hall bath containing a shower. Two more bedrooms share a bath with two sink areas and the bath tub and toilet in a separate room. One bedroom has a queen bed with a TV/VCR and the other bedroom has two twin beds. The laundry room is located on the lower level. Steps from this level lead to the very large carport allowing you to unpack the car in any weather and store your bikes, beach chairs and toys.
On the top level you will find another bedroom with two twin beds and a TV/VCR/DVD. Adjacent to this bedroom is the large master bedroom with a queen bed, TV/VCR, chair and ottoman, sleeper sofa and pool and lagoon view. This room offers a private bath and two vanity areas plus a large walk-in closet.
This Hilton Head home is perfect for large or multiple families with an un-crowded beach less than a five minute walk away and a location toward the end of the street allowing a great place for kids to ride bikes. Whether enjoying the beach or your own pool, it offers everything you need for a vacation to remember.
