Welcome to my mountain home located in the very desireable San Moritz area of Crestline and surrounded by tall Jeffrey Pine and Incense Cedar. The home is newly remodeled with all new appliances and furnished with mountain style furnishings, many are one of a kind pieces. Conveniently, the home has street level entrance with a parking deck for 2 to 3 cars. No long stairs to get to the front door that is so common to mountain homes with views. Three of the four bedrooms have direct access to a balcony looking to the mountains and Lake Gregory. The home is located about 6 miles from Lake Arrowhead and 6 miles from Silverwood Lake. Yet, only 15 minutes drive to the city of San Bernardino. Walk to Lake Gregory and grocery shopping. A skate park for the kids is about 1 mile away. Both Silverwood Lake and Lake Gregory are stocked with fish. You can keep your eye on your little Lake Gregory fisherman from the upper balcony. Goodwin's, a large grocery store, is less than a mile away. The house has three stories, each with its own balcony. Two families will be well accommodated for. The first floor includes the kitchen and family room with a half bath. The second floor has two full baths and three bedrooms. The third floor has a half bath, bedroom with bunk beds, and a family room with a queen bed, couch and table and is well separated from the rest of the house via a spiral staircase and two outside doors, giving privacy to a second family. The queen bed on the third floor, effectively makes five comfortable sleeping areas. We are proud of our Lake Gregory. Besides fishing, in the summer it is open to swimming and sunbathing on a well maintained sandy beach. Lifeguards are on constant duty. People come from miles around just to use one of two 300 foot water slides. Available for rent are kayaks, row boats, paddle boats, and electric fishing boats. Motor boats are not allowed on the lake which keeps our lake clean and the fish healthy.In winter, you can ski at two resorts. Snow Valley is about 15 miles away. The home is situated about 5,500 feet in elevation so gets its share of snow. We have a four person sled available for your use. Very cozy and warm in winter due to the very effective wood stove, however, the home is centrally heated as well.
When you rent my home, you will find the kitchen is well equipped to accomodate a large group of people and you will find clean sheets and pillow cases on every bed. You do not have to bring your own linens. All I ask is that you bring your own towels and wash cloths and trash bags.

This was a great family get a way in a wonderful cabin sitting just above Lake Gregory! The five bedrooms made it very nice to be able to have the kids in their rooms while leaving a quiet private place for us adults as well. We were able to walk right into town from the cabin to eat, then a beautiful walk around the lake, and shopping right in town, with great ease and convenience. The decor is perfect for the mountains and made it a nice homey, blessed place to be for our Christmas Celebration. The owner Dave is absolutely wonderful, nice and accommodating and we look forward to coming back! THANK YOU!
Owner response:Since Alan's visit, the home now features a tankless hot water heater to help accomodate the larger groups. This provides an endless supply of hot water.

This place is stunning, just as shown in the photos. It is a beautiful house located in a beautiful tree-lined mountain setting. It is obvious that the owners put great care and attention to detail into up-keeping and decorating the house. The intricate decorations found all throughout the house would never be found in a chain hotel. You definitely get the best of both worlds when you stay here, as the decor elicits a cozy cabin feel, but the house is large and spacious. A group of 8 of us stayed the weekend, and we had plenty of room in the house. We were never cramped for space. We cooked breakfast in the mornings and enjoyed using the large, equipped kitchen. As for activities, we had no trouble finding fun things to do. We played pool at one of the local bars in town and ate dinner at a tasty Mexican restaurant, Toni's. We also enjoyed a stroll through town and around the lake. Everyone we encountered in town was super friendly and welcoming. We all very much enjoyed our time here and did not want to leave! It was the perfect escape from "city life". We all agreed that we have never encountered such a well-kept, fun, cozy place. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend, relative, or stranger!
Owner response:The walk around Lake Gregory is 2.5 miles long and takes just under an hour to complete. Many of our guests use the fitness trail which has exercise stations along the entire trail.

This three story vacation home offered all that we needed to have a great family time away, not too far away, from home :D. The location is perfect all year around. There's Lake Gregory near by for water activities and ski slopes for winter. The bedrooms had clean bedding. Certainly the living room area was comfortable, and well decorated with mountain like atmosphere. All the kitchen utensils were kept nicely. You don't really need to bring much. Also there's a friendly supermarket near by for all your needs. Our family enjoyed our stay. It was a home away from home.

Dave is a wonderful vacation rental owner and made the stay for our group of 15 college students a relaxing and enjoyable getaway from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles. The cabin has enough parking for 3 cars and there is no worries about long walks up stairwells and hills. The cabin is literally right there. You enter on the top of 3 floors to a beautifully decorated great room with comfortable leather couches and a spotless kitchen fully stacked rwith everything you need to cook and eat with. A big screen TV with satellite is present and a cozy fireplace. The decor is SO amazing in this house and there are so many little things to notice from the bear rug to the artwork. Downstairs on the lower floor and basement there are plenty of bedrooms for 15 guests and each one is uniquely decorated with its own flair. The views out the windows are great with peak a boo views of Lake Gregory and a tress nestle around the cabin to give it that secluded feel. We walked to Lake Gregory and it took about 20 minutes and there are hills on the walk, but it is an enjoyable walk due to the mountain enviornment. The lake is pretty and fun to hang out at and the town is charming. The people is Crestline were very friendly during our stay. We would not hesitate to enjoy this beautiful cabin again and we want to say thank you to Dave for his wonderful hospitality.

I took my fiance's family to this cabin for their first outing to nature. They had an amazing time and enjoyed the cabin immensely! The cabin easily fit ten of us easily and there was room for even more. We had a great time BBQing on the balcony with a view of Lake Gregory. David, the owner, is also a wonderful person to rent from and he is very responsible with the rental and assures a smooth process. I highly recommend this cabin.

We had a wonderful familly vacation in your cabin. Great location less than 5 minutes to lake. Plenty spacious for the 8 of us. Great for extended families to have privacy for each family. Our kids enjoyed Lake Gregory, going down a 350-foot waterslide and renting kayaks, mini sailboats, paddleboards and acquacycles. Horsebackriding was close by too. The cabin's decorations captured the spirit of the mountains. Thank you Dave! We would love to come back.

We had a fantastic famiily get-away in your cabin! There was plenty of room for 3 couples, the kitchen had all the gadgets we needed, the place was cozy and clean and the parking was ample. The new trash pick-up service is so helpful! We also had a great time on the lake...we kayaked, swam, rented a paddle boat and relaxed. Thanks so much!

We LOVED our weekend at this cabin in Crestline. It is so cozy and the beds are very comfortable. We especially enjoyed waking up to the serene atmosphere. The location couldn't be more convenient -- only a few minutes to the grocery store, restaurants, and a beautiful walk around Lake Gregory. We can hardly wait to stay here again soon. We highly recommend this cabin. You won't be disappointed.
