Super convenient location!

My husband, 12 year old son and I enjoyed the convenience of this apartment just off of Union Square in San Francisco. The accomodations were spacious enough for the entire family and offered privacy for all. The convenience the location offered did have one significant drawback - we were squarely in the middle of urban noise but didn't mind it too much. The pictures accurately depict the interior of the apartment - no surprises. There are many very tasty restaurants (both fine as well as casual dining) within easy walking distance, and Walgreen's and Starbuck's aren't far away either. Union Square, Chinatown and Grace Cathedral are all within blocks and the cable cars are easy to find. (One thing to note - we rented a car at the airport and paid dearly for parking for the week. There is a rental car hub not far from this apartment - no need to rent at the airport if you don't need access to wheels during your entire stay.) Overall - a good experience for our family.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

We stayed in this appartment in January 2011 and had a very positive experience. The pictures well reflect the overall state of the appartment: nice furniture and kitchen, no old crap. Very spacious. Very important: on arrival the appartment was very clean. Kitchen (with dishwasher) worked fine. Bed was good (not too hard). Located near Union Square was convenient. However, bedroom was on street-side which was little noisy at night (no heavy traffic, but people passing by and talking). I am a good sleeper and had no problems, but my wife did wake up a few times during our stay. But this was minor and is the only negative thing I can come up with. Would surely stay here again.
