This unique vacation retreat is located at 1467 N Tenmile Lake in a private cove off of Blacks Arm. The retreat is only accessible by boat. Boat rentals are available at Lakeside Marina or you can launch your own boat at any of the boat launches on the lakes. We recommend the county launch or the North Lake Resort for launching your own boat.
Construction of this vacation retreat completed in 2009. Incredible quality and attention to detail are evident throughout this beautifully furnished and well appointed property. Interesting note: the Douglas fir trees that were removed for the building site were milled onsite and the material used to frame the house and to build a barge that was used to float in everything used to construct and furnish the home.
If you are seeking an extraordinary and unusual vacation, this property will meet your expectations. The setting offers 260 degree water views from the tip of a cove with excellent southern exposure and shelter from the prevailing winds.
Check VRBO#398255 if you have a larger group and need more room. The lakefront cottage is adjacent and connected by a trail through the forest.

This place was the PERFECT place for our family reunion. We stayed for a week (wish it could have been longer!) There was something for everyone, and we had all ages from 11 to 87. The lake is beautiful...warm enough water, perfect for tubing, wakeboarding, kayaking, swimming. (Only disappointment was that we didn't catch any fish!) When the kids weren't on the lake, they were in the fully tricked out game room. The adults enjoyed the lake also, plus the luxury kitchen, the HUGE deck with the gorgeous views, hiking through the forest above the house, and the super comfy beds. Everything was absolutely TOP NOTCH...it all felt brand new. We would definitely go there again. Have already recommended it to several of our friends. NOTE: you do need a boat to get to the house...there's no road access. We rented a boat (several different boats, actually, on different days) from the marina just a few minutes by boat from the house. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place for your next vacation!!!
Owner response:It's great to hear that the property has something for everyone and that your group had such a great time. We look forward to seeing you again in the future and maybe the fish will cooperate. Thanks for the opportunity to host your reunion.

We scoured the internet for a site for a four-family reunion and this place was everything we hoped for. The only drawback was we never saw the towns in the area because we never left the house and lake. As nice as they are, the pictures barely do it justice - we lived on the deck, even when it got cool we hung by the outdoor fireplace. Nothing was missing - the kitchen had everything we needed to bake or barbeque, more comfortable deck chairs and loungers than we could use and all the rooms had top of the line everything and in spotless condition. Every one of the 15 people found some perfect nook to hide out and read or play games or nap. The place was kid heaven with the game room and pool table, water toys and lake. The other lake residents who we met could not have been more friendly. The best vacation money we've ever spent.
Owner response:Thank you for the excellent review and we're glad you enjoyed the lake getaway!

I highly recommend this home and the lsititng is completely accurate. The accomodations and landscape are beautiful. The outdoor kitchen and fire place should be on the cover of "Sunset" magazine. The owner was helpful and timely. It was the perfect place for our family vacation.
Owner response:Thanks for the review. We look forward to seeing you again next year!
