Kapalua is a destination resort area with several beautiful beaches, including one of the most beautiful in the world -- consistently ranked as Maui's best beach. Kapalua boasts two fantastic golf courses. The Plantation Course hosts the PGA season-opening Mercedes Championship tournament. In Fall 2008, the Bay Course will host the LPGA.
