  Wendy has a wonderful home in a nice neighborhood. It is close to everything you would need. We felt like we were in our own home & we will stay there again. We love Charleston & so far this was the best home.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+.

  My husband, daughter, and my parents all stayed in this house. It was a great "home away from home for us". This was our first visit to the Mt. Pleasant/Charleston area, so we weren't sure what to expect. We were very happy with our choice to stay in the "pink house". It was in such a great neighborhood. So close to everything and everyplace that we wanted to go. Boone Hall was at the top of my "to do" list, and it was just a couple of minutes down the road. Also Isle of Palms was beautiful and very close too. And we drove into Charleston several times. It was only about 15 minutes at the most. Just wanted to say thanks to Wendy for sharing her beautiful home with us. I found it to be everything that was described in the listing. It was very clean and well kept. The backyard was wonderful . We used the hammock and the grill several night. The fountains were very nice and peaceful. The only regret we had, and this has nothing to do with the owners, apparently the Mosquito's like "yankee blood" as my friend from S.C said to us.....so it was hard to enjoy the outside very long at a time. Thanks again Wendy. I would definitely stay in your home again, it made our vacation so much more relaxing. I felt relaxed and refreshed when we got back home after spending our week in South Carolina.

  This was our first experience traveling with our 11 month old twins and Amanda and Wendy could not have made the adventure easier. First, the house: when renting on VRBO, my first concern is always cleanliness. This house is perfectly clean! No concerns there. Check. The beds were all comfortable. Each bed is a queen and pretty comforty. They have a DVD player, cable, washer/dryer, and everything you need in kitchen. THE BACKYARD IS BEAUTIFUL!!! I mean, it is really a sight. They have a nice piece of land with a hammock, fountains, and a grill. It is quite peaceful. Next, I look for location. The house is perfectly located in Mt. Pleasant. The house is in a development surrounded by other nice homes. The neighborhood was 100% safe and convenient. We put our boys in a stroller and walked the neighborhood. The permanent residents could not have been friendlier. Our location was also convenient to all the amenities you need. We were 5 minutes from a few grocery stores, Starbucks, shopping. We were 15 minutes from Sullivan's Island. We were 10-20 minutes (depending on construction traffic) from downtown Charleston. Finally, the owners, Amanda and Wendy were responsive to emails and very helpful during our stay. They are great.

  This home was exactly as described and better. We were blessed with good weather and Sullivan's Island was a short trip down the road. We love Charleston with all the great restaraunts and places to see, but Mt. Pleasant has quite a bit to offer too. A must to see the USS Yorktown and sub. The house was very clean and comfortable, definitely recommend this house ! Also, nice to have some recommendations for things to do. Thank you , Wendy for sharing it with us. Craig, Sue and Dan

  We were the first renters for this lovely home. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and would definitely rent this property again. The owners were so pleasant and helpful as well. The outside was just as lovely as the inside and you can tell there was alot of TLC put into making this home comfortable and inviting. They provided everything needed to make our stay feel like home. The location was perfect...short drive to the beach at Isle of Palms and short drive to downtown Charleston and other historic sights. Thank you for making our stay in Mt Pleasant a memorable one!
