Superb and spacious home with 24 feet high cathedral ceilings and large windows facing the lake, elegantly furnished, original art work (partly by local artists), all natural paints, superb stereo/large flat TV for DVDs, 100% hardwood or tile floors, wool, sisal or Persian carpets, Finnish sauna, Finnish fire place and wood stove, fire pit in the garden, 50 acres woodland, ravines, waterfalls, right on the lake and with your own dock.
Also included is a daylight basement apartment with full bath, bedroom, living room, kitchen and wood/tile floors. The apartment is not rented to third parties unless you also rent the main house.
Weekly and week-end rentals for wine tours etc. available (2 day minimum); ideal for retreats, family reunions, writing your unfishined book, weddings, and more, all year round. Absolutely breathtaking in the summer, autumn, winter and spring!
This gorgeous single family, non-smoking home on the shores of Cayuga Lake has five bedrooms (one of which is very spacious with 450 sq. ft.), three bathrooms, a separate shower area on the ground level with access to a large lawn and garden with a fire pit, sauna, and more. The daylight basement apartment's living room also has a double futon which can easily serve as a 6th bedroom.
In addition to the bedrooms, with king, queen and double sized beds, the living rooms have large futons and a spare mattrass so the house sleeps up to 21 if needed. (But if you come alone or as a couple, the place is still fabulous and affordable; I used to live there year round).
The main living area has 24 foot high cathedral ceiling and glass front facing the lake for a spectacular view. The adjacent dining area also looks out on the lake. And the home us surrounded by 50 acres of woods; great strolls and playing for kids.
