We welcome you to come enjoy a true 'home away from home' experience in our cozy beachfront 9th floor condo at Calypso Resort - perfect for a romantic getaway or family vacation. The master bedroom offers a high quality king bed, with 2 twin bunk beds in the hallway and a queen sofa bed with brand new mattress.
Our #1 priority is customer service..hands down!! Our goal is to provide you with the best experience, not only during your stay, but throughout the entire process (search, reservation, check-in/out, etc.). We are very prompt with our responses, provide a seamless booking process, and remain very hands-on throughout your entire experience.
As for the condo itself - the photos speak for themselves. The beach is our backyard! The serene view of the emerald water, sugar white sand and warm sunset from our balcony will certainly make you fall in love. The ideal 9th floor is high enough to enjoy the privacy and panoramic view of the beautiful white sand and clear emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico, but low enough to see the activities in the pool and beach below. Quick and easy access to the beach makes it convenient for everyone to enjoy some sunbathing/swimming at any time. Need a break from the beach? There are two large (and heated) outdoor pools with beach views and tropical landscaping, and a tiki bar to satisfy your thirst with some frozen drinks.
Our guests enjoy the warm and charming decor, with Tommy Bahama furnishings throughout. The upgraded tiles keep our home clean, and our fully equipped kitchen (with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances) enables you to prepare a home cooked meal if desired. You'll also have access to a secured parking garage directly across the street, with a covered and air conditioned walkway to the condo.
Our home is the closest resort (walk across the street!)to Pier Park - Panama City Beach's premiere entertainment center. You'll never need your car with all that Pier Park has to offer - 1 million square feet of restaurants & bars, Imax movie theatre, shopping (boutique and department stores), Target, live music and rides for the kids.

The top bunk and sand in it. Apparently, the sheets had not been washed.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.
Owner response: I'm so sorry about that! In an effort to have the place ready for your early check-in the cleaning crew must have missed that top bunk. However, that is inexcusable and I will address that with the crew and make sure it won't happen in the future. Again, thank you for staying with us.

This was our first time at the Calypso and in Panama City Beach. I had an excellent time here. I wished we could've stayed here a little longer. The listing description is accurate. Everything here is just like in the pictures. I love how it is decorated and very clean . The owners are awesome. Huey was here to answer any questions that I had. I love how everything is so close to us!! I love how fresh the oysters were at Dusty's and at Dee's Hangout. Oishi had amazing Pad-Thai noodles. There were so many places to short so next time I will definitely bring a bigger suitcase!!! I would surely recommend this property to my friends and family. And, I will definitely be back.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This by far was the best experience we have ever had booking a unit through VRBO.com!! From the beginning, Khang was a pleasure to work with and very accommodating with our requests. We very much enjoyed staying at this condo. It is very tasteful and spacious. The view is amazing and the owner was very helpful with any questions we had. The location is great, close to shopping and restaurants and of course a wonderful beach. The balcony overlooks the beautiful ocean and pool.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

We had a short break in mid-October and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The Calypso is an excellent resort, great pools, Tiki bar and right on a wonderful beach. The condo itself was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Especially appreciated were the obviously very high quality bed and bedding - we always take our own down pillows everywhere, but in this case they were not needed as those supplied were just as comfortable. Huey was a pleasure to deal with, answering all queries promptly. Check in was quick and easy, no problems with parking in the walkway-connected deck and with 3 elevators serving the east block, there was never a wait. In all a very pleasurable experience, we would definitely return.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.

My Husband & I spend the weekend at this condo. We really enjoyed it & was very comfortable. The condo was VERY clean, spacious & beautifully furnished, especially the Master Suite. The location was excellent too. We were able to keep our vehicle parked & walk to Pier Park for all of our shopping & dining. The grounds of The Calypso are beautiful too. The owners were awesome to deal with & very informative from start to finish. We would highly recommend staying here :)Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
