  We love Folly Beach and Charleston Oceanfront Villas. We've been coming here for several years but this is is this first time in this unit. We usually stay on 2nd or 3rd floor. This was our first experience on the first floor. We loved it, the view is perfect all beach, ocean and the pier. No sight of hotel or its parking lot. Being on the 1st floor,which is over the garage, makes you feel like you're staying at a beach house. We joked we'd loved to have a zip line to beach access! The condo was very clean & comfortable and just as described and pictured. Kitchen was well stocked and all appliances were in working order. Check in instructions were very clear and simple to follow. Working with Michael was very easy and he was very helpful. This condo is within walking distance to all the restarants and shops @ Folly Beach, so your car can stay in underground garage unless you are going into Charleston. Folly is closest beach to town,just a 15 minute drive to Market Street. Just before the bridge over to Folly Beach there are grocery stores, gas stations and other services. Once you get over the bridge it a small Carolina beach town that is relatively unspoiled. We loved this unit and have made plans to return in September. We have found our home away from home.

  Above and beyond what we expected.....we have stayed at the Dunes - other rental properties and would come back to Oceanview Villa Properties...........very please

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Folly condo unit. Michael was a pleasure to deal with and the reservation and check in procedures couldn’t be any easier. We have stayed in a few units in this complex. This rental was comfortable, clean, secure and spacious. The master bed is extremely comfy as is the living room furniture. The dining table is large enough for a family. The views from the living room, master bedroom and balcony are fabulous…there is absolutely nothing between you, the sand and surf. Despite several cool days on the beach the large balcony has a “sheltered from the wind spot” that always promises to be warm and relaxing on a sunny cool day. The shops and restaurants are a 2 minute walk away and a short 15 minute easy drive to downtown Charleston where you can park and use the free hop on/hop off trolley buses to get around. We were lucky enough to be able to extend our S.C. vacation stay at the last moment; Michael cheerfully accommodated us. We will definitely stay again. JAS

  My husband and I stayed here with our two children and my 82 year old father. We loved the close proximity to the pier, where my dad could fish and we could walk back and forth to keep him company, and we were also within walking distance of the restaurants and shops. Our girls could be on the beach in minutes, or walk to the ice cream shop for a treat. The condo was clean and beautifully furnished, with a spacious balcony and a great view. My husband and I loved the master bedroom with the huge bathroom and jacuzzi tub...I chilled out in that tub more than a few times! The big dining table seated us all comfortably and the kitchen was well equipped and convenient. We enjoyed many dinners at that table. My only suggestion would be for a tall pub table and chairs for the balcony...the beautiful view is blocked somewhat by the railing when you sit in the normal height patio chairs, but some taller seating to allow one to see over the railing would really make it perfect! We will certainly look into staying here again...the owner was extremely responsive and friendly, and we had our security deposit back within a couple of weeks of our return.

  I have been going to Folly Beach since I was a child and have seen such great changes to this beach! We really enjoyed staying in this unit, The unit was very clean and furnished nicely, Building was very well maintained, We have rented from the same person for about 6 years and have never been disappointed, I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone who wants a good vacation at the beach. You can walk to all the restaurants and stores. We love The Lost Dog Cafe, Rita's, Taco Boy and The Charleston Crab House on Wappoo Creek. Also, try to go and see the Morris Lighthouse (tgreat interesting history regarding this lighthouse}

  My husband and I stayed in this unit and thorougly enjoyed it, the oceanfront view is absolutely one of the best. We found Folly Beach to be very warm, laid back and inviting. October is a perfect time of the year to enjoy the area. Just minutes from Charleston. We had a great week of relaxation. We highly recommend this unit and the complex.
