Sundancer Villa; a wonderful affordable retreat villa for a romantic, quiet vacation for two or the perfect getaway for a small family or friends. Sitting high on a hill overlooking Fish Bay, Ditliff Point and St. Croix off in the distance, with the sounds of Fish Bay surf in the distance. With our two air conditioned bedrooms and two baths, plus a huge loft with a private deck, you have all the comforts you will need. We have equipped Sundancer with all modern amenities for our own extended stays plus we constantly update her with new appliances, furniture and wonderful artwork. The covered dining area faces the spectacular views as well as all of the expansive outdoor area which includes your own totally private hot tub and small swimming pool.
Fish Bay is convenient to Cruz Bay (our town) but is in a very quiet residential area. While in the past, many of the Fish Bay community's roads were gravel, all main roads are now paved including the climb up our own street to Sundancer except for 100 yards at the bottom! Many of our couples and families return to Sundancer year after year and lavish our on line guest book with accolades about the quiet, privacy and amenities of Sundancer. Our environment just seems to bring out the peace and romance needed on a tropical vacation!

Year Purchased: 1998
We live at Sundancer three months per year and the rest of the time, we live in Central Florida in a community for active adults known as "The Villages". We had been wintering in the Caribbean for about 10 years before we bought St. John in 1998 and we have many family members and friends join us each year including our five grandchildren who love to come to "Gammy and Poppy's Sundancer".
Why the Owner Chose Fish Bay
Bob is in the travel business and we have traveled extensively throughout the world and the Caribbean and each time we traveled elsewhere, we always thought of our beloved St. John because we love to swim, snorkel, scuba and just sit on the beach reading a good book. The fact that nearly three quarters of St. John has been given to the National Park Service as the Virgin Island National Park makes St. John like no other Caribbean island. The world class beaches on the north shore of St. John are in their natural state and are guaranteed to stay that way forever. They are an easy 20 minute ride from Sundancer and they are a daily part of our routine while we are at Sundancer ourselves.
The Unique Benefits of this Villa
The fact that we spend so much time at Sundancer allows us to equip the home for our own personal tastes rather than bare bones rental home features. We picked Sundancer because it was and still is totally private from the eyes of neighbors and roads. If we need to spend some time in our "birthday suits", there is no reason not to. We enjoy good music so there is a good sound system with an i pod docking station with speakers inside, in the outdoor dining area and on the pool deck. We enjoy cooking so there is a top rate Weber grill and every cooking tool you could want. We built the spacious deck for the pool and hot tub with lots of umbrella shade. The deck rails were designed to allow an unobstructed view of the Caribbean while sitting in the hot tub, enjoying the music, drinking a margarita and watching the cruise ships roll out from St. Thomas! It just doesn't get any better! After all these years, we know St. John well and have left a book with recommended restaurants and menus for your nights on the town (10 minute drive). For a special dinner, make a reservation at ZoZo's at Sunset sitting at the bar. Tell John (the owner) you are guests of Bob & Carol Ann Faucett. He will take very good care of you! While we constantly strive to keep Sundancer up to date with replacement furniture, appliances and artwork, there are few villas on pricey St. John that can offer the amenities that we do at the very affordable rates we ask. We have always wanted to make Sundancer available to as many folks as possible. Enjoy and feel free to ask questions.
