Facade - Bald Head Island, NC Vacation Rental Thinking of buying? We are looking for two or three partners in the ownership of our wonderful home. As a rental, it is fabulous. Beautiful, unspoiled vistas in all directions: Marsh, golf course, lake and ocean . Bald Head Island is like no other. It is an adventure in nature and this home sits on the edge of it. Birds sing, fish jump and turtles sun, all easily viewed from our huge screened-in porch.. This bright and airy home is very private at the end of a cul-de-sac. It is solid and has withstood many a storm. Walk over to the ocean for a morning swim, or to the club for an early morning workout . Or choose one of our two golf cars or bikes. The newly renovated Bald Head Island Country Club is almost next door. It features a wonderful place to have lunch and watch the golfers on the driving range while dining. Have a late afternoon swim in the olympic pool , or enjoy world class croquet on the manicured lawn. The summer tennis program is amazing. We have a temporary membership available for our guests. Water Thrush was built in 1995. There are three high ceiling bedrooms each with spectacular views and their own porches, separated from each other for privacy. The baths are generous and the house well equipped. It is an ideal location 5 min. to the harbor/marina and 9 to the Maritime Market grocery store. It is next to the BHI Club and its wonderful facilities and restaurant. We are on the 9th hole. All linens are included. We love it and hope you will too!

Ferry and parking are extra. Ferry: $10/15; Parking: $7.
Booking as early in the season as possible is recommended.
