  • Family vacation

"We enjoyed our stay and found the location of the condo to be perfect. We were traveling with a toddler so being on the first floor, steps from the beach and pool, was exactly what we needed. And you could still see the ocean, even on the ground floor. (Although note that if you have an infant or younger child who can't walk as well/long, the walk to the beach over the boardwalk would be difficult with all the beach gear -- but that is true of the entire island because of protected dunes.) Another thing we unexpectedly loved about the location was all the wildlife! (see: protected dunes). Our son loved spotting the bunnies and turtle families living in the dunes -- often we could see them from the porch/yard right out front. The condo itself was nicely appointed, well equipped and had all the essentials covered."

  • A wonderful respite

"Just returned from a fine week of sunny days and blue skies at Summer Beach. We fully enjoyed this up-to-date and welcoming Outrigger villa, well outfitted and well managed. The owners offer a delightful vacation place, and the property manager is a true Gem! In a lovely and quiet location with all the comforts, none of the worries---what could be better? Geared to a 3-yr-old, we loved our adventures on the beach, at Fort Clinch, and on the Egan Greenway, and having access to the Beach Club pool and the shady bike/running path is a real plus. The village of Fernandina Beach treated us to great casual lunches and good browsing mid-day, and the villa kitchen met this foodie group’s every expectation for dinner prep. Lovely to dine outside with ocean views and sounds of the surf. We are refreshed and inspired, and plan to come again next year."

  • Relaxing, oceanfront peace

"We've been to Amelia Island many times - were married there a number of years ago - and are very happy to have found this condo. The size was perfect for our needs and you can't beat the view, 4th floor is a perfect height. This condo is very casual and comfortable and the most stocked of any private condo I've stayed in - you want for nothing when there as many condos give you a starter roll of paper towels, two rolls of toilet paper, one trash bag, and so on, then you replace if you want/need more, but these owners have provided everything imaginable, no extra charge...lots of kitchen supplies, laundry detergent, and tons of towels for bath and beach, along with a variety of beach gear for your use. Admittedly the memory foam topper was a bit soft for our tastes, we simply removed it for our stay as we prefer a firm bed, but not matter what you will sleep so peacefully as you listen to the waves in the background. Cynthia was easy to work with and very communicative. We loved our stay and are already looking to book a return visit."

"We needed a quick weekend get away. All the amenities were supplied in the condo, the best stocked kitchen supplies I've ever seen for a vacation home. The beach was beautiful. The beds were comfortable. We will definitely return if ever going to Amelia Island again!!!!"
