Great location in a quiet street but still in the heart of the old town, so almost traffic free. Cadiz is a magical place. The outside terrace was a great asset, and gets the sun a lot, we had a few meals there when we didn't want to eat out. The apartment is well laid out and really comfortable for four people.

We had a wonderful stay in Cadiz and will definitely return. Ignacio was a fantastic host - friendly, flexible about check-in and check-out and helpful. The apartment was bright and spacious, and the terrace was lovely. Very central but quiet and peaceful. Toiletries and cooking essentials generously provided. Comfortable bed.

Quiet and comfortable

A spacious and quiet flat, close to everything but really peaceful. The host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. And Cadiz is wonderful.

This is a charming apartment in the heart of Cádiz old town. We especially enjoyed breakfasts and evenings on the terrace! The elevator is a nice convenience for getting luggage up/down and one that you don’t often find in an older building. The AC is only in the living room, but there are ceiling fans and plenty of windows to open for a nice breeze. Ignacio is a wonderful host, sharing some history of Cádiz as well as recommendations for enjoying the city.

Chilling in Cadiz

We had a great stay at Ignacio’s. The apartment is actually nicer than the pictures…newer coach, great lighting, and very cozy atmosphere. The terrace is a great place for some downtime. We loved Cadiz for its hidden plazas and the charm of La Caleta…would love to return.

A Comfortable Home

Ignacio's apartment is everything as depicted in the comments, photos and description. Ignacio himself is a kind and caring host who made certain we were always comfortable and had what we needed. Plenty of space for 2, great terrace and the elevator was a bonus. We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay in Cádiz so much. Of course it's an older house (so are all of them in the romantic historic city center) , but everything was functioning absolutely well an the terrace was really outstanding. Ignazio is a very friendly host, always taking care in case we asked for support. He provided us with a map of Cádiz and lots of wonderful ideas and recommendations <3.

Great place, very central to everything. Beaches, bars, buses, shops etc Lift was a great bonus as family member uses a mobility walker plus with shopping / bags / luggage, it was fab!The only downside is no AC in bedrooms and with little breeze / draft and ceiling fan it was super hot. Having to have the doors / windows open to create through breeze meant little sleep with noise during night (refuse collection / people etc) Place was lovely but could do with a little refresh. :)Terrace was amazing and perfect for chilling / dining / sunbathing. Ignacio was amazing host. Great response, useful information and very helpful. Best host I have come across.

Lovely host, lovely house, lovely city

Ignacio is a wonderful and accommodating host. The house is centrally located in the old town and has a large roof top patio. The house is amply spacious with lots of light. The appartment is located on the third floor which requires walking up steep twisty steps; luckily there is a small elevator to carry up your luggage. This is a fabulous place to stay and we would happily come again.

Charming Apartment

This apartment is charming, spacious and bright with an enormous terrace. Uniquely it has a key operated lift directly to the living room taking out the issue of going up and down stairs. Communication with the owner, Ignacio, was excellent from start to finish, and he was most helpful with restaurant suggestions. Parking is a few minutes walk away at the Plaza San Antonio and there is a small supermarket just around the corner.

We loved it !

Ignacio’s house was a great place to stay in Cadiz. Spacious apartment with a lift ( a rare thing in Cadiz ! ) We loved the terrace which we used every day, even in august it wasn’t baking hot on there . Nice shade areas to enjoy breakfast and a siesta ! As we were doing a bit of a tour it was great to have access to a washing machine. Ignacio is a very nice guy and his daughter who greeted us on arrival . It’s very centrally based, lots of lovely squares and cafes , you find new things each day . We loved it here and would love to return.

Wonderful apartment in captivating Cadiz!

We spent eight days in this spacious apartment and wished we could have stayed longer. From the outset booking was seamless and Arantxa was at the apartment to meet us and show us where everything was and also give us some tips on where to eat, shop and visit. The apartment has everything one could ever need from a well equipped kitchen if you want to cook the local produce which is delicious and in abundance to plenty of bed linen and even beach towels if you want to travel lightly. The terrace is a great bonus for spending time relaxing after a busy day exploring and then you can flop into the comfy bed. We walked for hours around the old town and beyond and around every corner there is another beautiful square to have tapas and drinks. Cadiz is a place that we could never tire of and we loved living as a "local" with the friendly people saying "hola" or "buenas dias" to us. If you love fish and seafood then go to the fish market which is only ten minutes walk away; it is an absolute joy! There are also vendors there who have every fruit and veg you could imagine. Everything is delicious and very reasonably priced compared to the UK. La Calleta beach is a short stroll away with a beautiful Victorian style pavilion and a castle on either side of it. Also a short walk away is La Camara Oscura where you can see the whole of Cadiz in live action. We took a trip to Jerez by train (only 35 minutes) to see the Dancing Horses which was enchanting and we also visited Tio Pepe sherry house which is now run by the fifth generation of the family...well worth a visit. To sum up if you feel like a change from crowded costas and "the full English breakfast" then think of Cadiz, you will not be disappointed. Great host and location!

Eignacio was an excellent host! He walked us through the features and highlighted near-by shops and restaurants. He even patently answered our call at 2am when we were struggling with the lock! Elevator was a bonus. We spent most of our time on his beautiful large deck. The stay would have been better with newer towels and sheets and the hot water warming up faster. All things we were able to work around with the other pluses!

Aire Acondicionado insuficiente

La casa estaba bien, con todo lo necesario y una terraza estupenda, pero ha hecho mucho calor y solo tienen un aparato de aire acondicionado en el salón, q para esta habitación ya se queda justo de potencia, pero a los dormitorios no llega ni de casualidad. Las únicas ventanas del piso q dan al exterior están en el comedor y en el dormitorio principal, pero al estar en linea no se establece ninguna corriente de aire. El dormitorio de mis hijos tenía una ventana q daba al pasillo. Alrededor del pasillo y del salón hay un montón de ventanas q dan a un patio interior estrecho y profundo con tragaluz q supongo hace efecto lupa. Por el calor, mi hija ha dormido todas las noches en el sofá desvencijado del salón y mi marido en una de las tumbonas de la terraza, hasta las 4-5 de la madrugada. En el piso hay cantidad de radiadores, en invierno se debe estar de cine. El propietario muy amable y accesible, por lo q siento tener q hacer este comentario.
