Large apartment

Great stay in a perfect location. We were there during the week, so it wasn't very loud at night. Very large apartment with plenty of space!

Dated but roomie. Good location

The place is massive so plenty of room to spread out. No frills but everything you need. Like other reviewers shared it is a bit noisy but the fans provided in the rooms help block out the noise. Right around the corner from good restaurants and shops. Would recommend.

Smells damp, pictures are dressed up or old, uncomfy pillows.

Broken shower, leaking toilet. Pictures make it look better than it. The smell of damp is pleasant. Some new pillows in the bed would be a good investment for starters. Location is great, on the third floor.

Convenient and roomy, but noisy

The old city neighborhood with its narrow streets, abundance of restaurants, pastry shop, fado venues, and transportation options was charming and convenient. The apartment is spacious and well equipped but involves a lot of steps to 3 rd floor. The stairs and noise to 2 - 3 am were a challenge for us.

Amazing location and layout

We had four women staying together so the set up with the four bedrooms and two baths was perfect. The kitchen, dining room and living room were great for gathering together. Plenty of room for everyone. While it was a bit noisy at night given the location, the fans and closing the windows helped drown out the noise. The bathrooms had a sulfur smell but opening the windows helped. Easy walking to everywhere from the property. Note the property is on the fourth floor and there is no elevator so it was a good work out! Communication with Feels Like Home was good. We definitely will stay again when we come back!

Lisbon stay

The apartment was dirty and cold. The three portable heaters were not sufficient for the space. One wall had a hole punched through it. The living room floor felt water-logged and sunk when walked on. One toilet leaked a puddle of water, was “fixed “ the following day, and leaked again. They left a wet towel under the toilet to soak up the water. Photos posted were flattering, but are misleading.

Nice condo

Overall it is a nice condo and communication was great with the host. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is how VERY loud the neighborhood is ALL night. That wouldn’t be such a problem but since there is no AC, it gets hot but I had to shut the windows. We new there wasn’t AC but I think they should add more fans or bigger ones. One small fan for each bedroom was not enough. The fan in the 4th bedroom did not work. The location is great for restaurants and train station.

Lively Neighborhood

This apartment is a very lively nightlife area. There are many nice bakeries and restaurants to choose from. At night, the noise from the street doesn’t stop until after 3am or later. I recommend bringing ear plugs if you are sensitive to noise when sleeping. Easy to get around by foot or metro. A suggestion for FLH management: equip the property with several trash bags, more dish soap, and dishwasher pods. The only trash bag was the ONE in the small trash bucket, and there was only 1 dishwasher pod. Also, supply written instructions on where to put the trash, and recycle items. We had no clue about recycling.

Check in nightmare -lost a night's stay

The property is as described in previous reviews. It is in the heart of Bairro Alto - it is a party like atmosphere well into the night -So an unfortunate choice for us with two under 8. Even with windows closed and fans on - still got woken bw 02-0300. As mentioned, no elevator and on the 3rd floor, being able bodied is a must. There is an odour in the washrooms as mentioned; opening windows does help. Its likely a 500 YO building so not uncommon.The beds are comfortable; lots of hot water; kitchen well appointed and it does seem like previous recommendations were addressed. Our nightmare was entirely with the check in process which saw us abandoned outside the residence with no response to our phone calls for access. As I mentioned we had 2 children under 8, in a party street setting. Our 7YO granddaughter was even creepily told she had nice legs by a leering man. It was very disturbing. Check-in is listed bw 1500-0000; We arrived around 1900. Provided with a phone number to call -went to voicemail - repeatedly; Main contact number also vm; VRBO email/chat is only monitored until 1800 - not mentioned anywhere so life line also failed. We had no choice but to find hotels as it was now well after 2100 and getting dark. The host was expecting us and failed us. Hotels were 532 euro - although reimbursed for this night we are still out of pocket 232 euro. The feeling of anxiety and of abandonment was real and avoidable if the phone was answered. It felt like a nightmare.

Nos alojamos en una calle que desemboca en la plaza Chiao, un lugar muy centrico con muchos restaurantes y cafeterias, parada del tranvia y mucho ambiente. El piso espacioso, muy limpio y agradable. Con todo lo necesario, plancha, secador, sabanas, tohallas...

Appartement pour la fête

Le logement est un appartement pour la fete. Il faudrait que ce soit mieux preciser dans l'annonce. Il est bien situé mais vieillissant avec des fuites un peu partout ( dans une chambre et dans les toilettes) et une salle de bains etait inutilisable.

Barrio Alto Apartment

The reservation process and communication with the host were excellent. The location can't be beat, close to restaurants, coffee shops, the train station, Time Out market, etc. It is noisy at night, didn't bother me, but note that there is a bedroom that doesn't face the main street that is quieter. The apartment was very clean however I suggest vacuuming the fans as they were super dusty. After staying at two other properties in Portugal, one with virtual check-in and another with an agent meeting us at the location, perhaps you might consider going this same route. It was a little much after flying internationally to be dropped off at the check-in facility to have then to walk with luggage to the apartment. We thought it was closer (our fault) and we didn't account for the hills (also our fault). We could have possibly taken an Uber, but again it looked so close. Anyway, just a suggestion. The checkout process was easy. This is a spacious, airy, wonderfully located apartment and we recommend it wholeheartedly.

Great location

Unit was clean and beds were comfortable. No a/c but fans were provided and the temperature was comfortable. Great restaurants and action close to the apartment. Easy to walk and see the sites. Appreciated the pick up service from the airport worth the extra $30 euros for that service. After a long flight it made finding the apartment seamless as the driver took us right to the front door. Great!!

Appart spacieux et idéalement placé

L’appartement est bien equipe avec des pièces spacieuses. Surtout il est bien positionné avec le tram 28 au pied de l’immeuble, les commerce à proximité et le choix pour les restaurants. Nous recommandons. Deux bémols toutefois. La vaisselle est un peu limite lorsque l’on est plus de 4, et le bruit le soir qui est la conséquence d’être au cœur du quartier animé du vieux Lisbonne. Mais pas trop gênant l’hiver…
