About this property

Lovely house near sea ~ spacious, relaxing & peaceful. Close to Everything!

Sweet, airy and peaceful 3 bedroom house to rent only 10 minutes walk from the sea. We are very happy for Guests to bring house trained pets too!

You have 3 bedrooms in total.
1 good size double room with kingsize bed with blackout blinds - front facing.
1 good size double room with double bed - rear facing.
1 smaller sized snug room with a small double bed - front facing.

The road is very quiet so you are guaranteed a really good and peaceful night's sleep. The Church bells near the house welcome in the day at 8am, so we hope you enjoy these!

The living room is a spacious, open and relaxing place to chill out after the days walks and adventures. you have use of the TV, WiFi and if you play the piano, we have one there which loves to be used!

Easy parking either on the road outside or inside the gates.

You can enjoy a refreshing shower or relaxing bath with as much hot water as you desire.

The kitchen is equipped to basic standard with everything you should need for your stay. We usually have some treats for any Pets who bring their owners on holiday :)

The accommodation includes WiFi and use of TV, dishwasher, washing machine, hair dryer and iron.

We take great pride in our holiday home and want the very best for your holiday too.
As your hosts, we like to let you have your space but will be only too happy to help you if and whenever you need throughout your stay.

We are a 'SHOES OFF' house (slippers are fine if not worn outside). Time, money, effort and love have created this haven. Spa slippers provided!😊
Any stains, breakages, damage to property by any guest must be paid for. Please advise us asap if this happens so we can discuss amicably.
No food or drink or PETS on or upstairs - we would like to keep our new carpets beautifully clean for all our lovely Guests!

Long w e away

The property is in an excellent location. In a quiet area about 10 to 15 minutes drive from Torquay. There are some lovely cafes and shops just 2 minutes walk away and the beach railway and model village are not much further. The house was very clean and the kitchen well equipped with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable with nice bed linen and towels provided. The property really suited us as a family of 2 adults a grandma and a baby.

Lovely comfortable home

We had a lovely time staying in this clean and comfortable home. We were attending a wedding in the church opposite so it was a great find and so convenient! Just a short walk from shops cafes and bars and lovely walks by the sea and into Babbacombe. The house was really clean with comfortable furnishings, well equipped kitchen and everything we needed. Communication with Lizzie was good, such a friendly lady and we hope to return here in the future.

Really great place to stay for any age group and families, the owners provide great information of the area and things to do.Theres plenty to do both local and further a field. Would highly recommend staying at this property

This is me Liz and my Brother Mike. We co-run our holiday home which has taken time, lots of energy and very hard work to get it to this stage.
We love our wonderful little haven and like to escape as much as possible to enjoy it's peaceful vibe and the many beautiful areas in and around St Marychurch.
Mike loves fishing - this area is a fisherman's heaven! There are so many great places to fish! He also enjoys bringing the boat down to take it out on the water. Our Mum loved the sea with a passion so it's in our blood too.
I work hard teaching and performing Japanese Taiko in the UK and worldwide. I find such peace and exhilaration coming down here.
The locals are so warm, friendly and helpful, it brings cheer to my heart!

We love to offer this opportunity for others too. Folks who will respect our home like their own and who will feel the joy we feel whenever we visit and stay here.
