Welcome to this over time renovated and rebuilt property in Fiskebäckskil with its very own cozy and pleasant floor plan in a seafront location by Gullmarsfjorden, Sweden's only threshold fjord. Here you have plenty of space and around the cottage there are several different terraces where you can find both sun and shade. Down by the shore you will find small boathouses whose openings face the water and further up the mountain tower stately houses with glass verandas and balconies that show true carpentry joy. Among Fiskebäckskil's captain's villas and fishermen's cottages, many cozy walking paths meander. There are several bathing spots in the area for cooling baths, sand between your toes and relaxation on the sun-warmed cliffs. Experience the archipelago with that ex. rent a kayak or go on a seal safari or hike in the nature reserve Vägeröd's valleys and experience the coastal rolling landscape with its claimed cultural lands with fields, sea beach meadows, deciduous trees and bushy pastures. The accommodation's location by Skaftö's main road also makes it easy to explore the surrounding area, fishing villages, archipelago, nature reserves and other interesting excursion destinations on Skaftö by car. From the parking lot, several small stairs with surrounding natural stone walls lead up to a terrace area from where you reach the cottage entrance. Once inside, you are met by a large hall that turns into a study with a wood burning stove, here are also two bedrooms with single beds and a bathroom with shower. From the hall, a half staircase leads up to the cottage's kitchen area and via another half staircase you reach the cottage's central point, the wonderfully nice tower room with a magnificent sea view. Here you will also find comfortable living room furniture and a wood burning stove. The kitchen is equipped with oven, microwave, fridge / freezer and dishwasher. From the kitchen you enter further into a bedroom and sleeping alcove part with 2 bedrooms each with a single bed and a sofa bed in the sleeping alcove. In this part there is also one of the cottage bathroom with shower and bath. In the annex of the cottage there are two large bedrooms with 2 single beds in each room, there is also a toilet. The basement of the annex is rented out separately, so it can be other guests who are staying there. On the cottage's terrace there is outdoor furniture and barbecue where you can enjoy wonderful meals, read a good book or maybe just rest after a wonderful day at the beach or the golf course. The cottage is equipped with fiber connection. From the cottage you also make easy day trips to Havets Hus in Lysekil, Nordens Ark, Smögen, Kungshamn or other fishing and boating communities in northern Bohuslän. The idyllic island of Bassholmen with its museum for traditional boats is also well worth a visit. Welcome to cozy Fiskebäckskil!
