In the ancient fishing village, located in an ancient former monastery of the '600, kaDevi Sanremo is a structure renovated with modern taste respecting the characteristics of the past. The large vaults leave the space open despite the small size and the mezzanine helps to keep the living area separate from the sleeping area. The slate that borders the floor and pays homage to simple shelves is reminiscent of a distant time, giving romance and mystery.
The structure overlooks Piazza Bresca, a small square that in not too distant times was teeming with fishermen with their "treasures" from the sea but which now lives on good restaurateurs who with commitment and dedication offer local and non-local dishes, as well as very good bartenders who with their cocktails, know how to cheer up their fellow citizens and the many tourists who liven up their premises at any time of the year. The apartment has a small entrance where you will find the wardrobe set up to provide you with every comfort: coat hanger, shoe rack, shelf for belts or ties, and a safe for your documents and precious objects. The 4 doors of the wardrobe are mirrored for a last look before leaving.
In front of the cloakroom you will find a sliding door that leads to the small but impeccable bathroom, where you can freshen up. The opening onto the living area is immediate and above all full of light, thanks to the two beautiful windows that will give you a splendid view of the square below and in particular, of the fountain in the shape of an obelisk in memory of Captain Bresca, a brave seafarer who with his cry "aiga ae corde" saved the Vatican obelisk in St. Peter's Square from a safe and ruinous fall to the ground in 1586. The living room is equipped with a comfortable sofa, two pretty tables to sip a good wine while watching the TV connected to the internet on a large flat screen. Here you can also have lunch or dinner thanks to a super-equipped and easy-to-use kitchen. There is no dishwasher due to space constraints. The wide staircase will take you to the sleeping area where you will find a comfortable double bed and everything you need for a good rest.
