The Lawns is ideally placed for exploring the surrounding area which showcases beautiful south Devon beaches and the rugged Dartmoor National park with rolling green countryside, wooded valleys, and pretty villages in between.. 10 steps to entrance.

Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Walk-In Shower, Toilet. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Highchair provided. Welcome pack. Front garden with patio, sitting-out area, garden furniture and BBQ. Facilities shared with the other properties on site include a gym, indoor & outdoor swimming pool, fishing lake, tennis court and games room. Private parking for 1 car; additional parking nearby. No smoking. Please note: There is a lake in the grounds, 500 metres away.. Located deep in the heart of the South Hams, you will find The Lawns set within 28 acres of grounds at the Colmer Estate. A luxurious two-bedroom holiday apartment which is just one of the twenty privately owned homes on the estate with shared use of an extensive range of indoor and outdoor leisure facilities, a woodland, fishing lake, streams, landscaped gardens and meadows. Colmer House is an 18th Century Georgian building, sympathetically renovated, grade II listed and restored to its former glory in the mid-1990s and converted into a number of privately owned luxury apartments.
The Lawns has very recently been refurbished in 2022 to the highest standards offering comfort and practicality. The Lawns is the centre right apartment at the front of the Manor House, with a south facing aspect and wonderful views from its windows across the grounds to the lake. Ten steps lead from the parking area to the main entrance to the property. Head into a spacious open-plan living and dining area with a fitted kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric cooker, microwave, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine/tumble dryer. Tastefully decorated, the living area features a cream three-piece leather suite, brown leather dining chairs and table, TV, video and DVD player. The living area doors lead directly to a large paved patio, surrounded by a balustrade wall which looks out over the immaculate lawns. The patio is private, sheltered and is furnished with a table, chairs and gas barbecue. Stairs lead to a large open landing, two bedrooms and a bathroom. Brightly furnished throughout, the master bedroom has a kingsize bed, generous wardrobes and a comfortable armchair to relax in. The second bedroom has two single beds and the bathroom features a shower over the bath, toilet and hand basin, all equipped to a very high standard. There is an additional Z-bed that can be made up on request, for flexible sleeping arrangements. The excellent facilities of the Colmer estate are all free of charge and exclusively for the use of the Colmer Guests.
These include indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a tennis court, games room, table tennis table, fitness suite, children’s play area, croquet lawn and boules. The outdoor kidney-shaped swimming pool is heated from the May Spring Bank Holiday through the summer months, and the Indoor pool is heated all the year round. The fitness suite is equipped with rowing, walking and cycling machines, a sit up frame and a bench press with weights. There are also coin operated laundry facilities available in case guests should require use of a tumble dryer. 28 acres of private grounds include a mixture of grass lawns, woodland, wild flower meadows, a walled garden equipped with children’s play equipment and boules pitch. You can always find plenty of walks to try, or a secluded spot where you can picnic, quietly read or just doze. The estate is home to a variety of wildlife - badgers, foxes, rabbits, deer, and game birds such as woodcocks and pheasants, and of course, the moorhens and resident mallards on the lake! Beach 8 miles.
