Not ideal with young kids
Our stay had a few challenges. The host was two hours late for check-in. The kitchen had only very basic utensils and lacked essentials like salt and oil, making cooking more difficult. Additionally, the floor was dirty upon arrival, and with no mop provided, we couldn’t clean it ourselves.
The location was not ideal for families with young children—it’s over a 20-minute walk to most attractions, which felt too far when managing little ones. Another issue was the shower, which blocked after just two days. While the host sent someone to fix it, it clogged again shortly after. The house is also very echoey, which made it especially noisy with our kids.
On the plus side, the house is spacious and didn’t have any unpleasant smells. The neighborhood is located near schools and universities, offering a good glimpse into local life, which we enjoyed. However, given the challenges we faced, especially with kids, we found the stay less comfortable than expected.
