Welcome to Chestnut Lodge at Toppesfield Hall — a wonderful, woodland retreat designed for slowing the pace and enjoying time together in the countryside.
Set within a private area of woodland and surrounded by open fields, your stay begins the moment you arrive. Step onto your veranda, sink into your private hot tub, light the fire pit, or wander through the trees to enjoy everything available on site.
Life at Toppesfield Hall is about more than just your lodge. Guests can enjoy a woodland sauna experience with cold drench shower and relaxation deck (available to book), a tennis and games court, indoor games room, bike hire, and relaxation treatments — all set within open countryside with walks directly from your door.
Dogs are warmly welcomed, and each lodge has a fully enclosed garden (approx. 1.2m fencing), so everyone can relax safely.
Chestnut Lodge is thoughtfully positioned within a small expanse of woodland, designed to bring the outside in while maintaining comfort and privacy. Large French doors open onto your private garden, creating a calm, easy indoor-outdoor flow throughout your stay.

Chestnut Lodge is arranged across a single level with an open-plan living space at its heart.
The lounge, kitchen and dining area sit together in one bright, sociable space, with large French doors opening directly onto the veranda and garden beyond.
The two bedrooms are set off the main living area, offering a practical and comfortable layout for families or small groups.
A separate bathroom is positioned conveniently to serve both bedrooms. PLEASE NOTE: Photos are used for both Chestnut & Copper Beech Lodge, as they are identical lodges; however some fittings, furniture and soft furnishngs may differ.

Toppesfield Village can be accessed via a short 8 min stroll across the grassed footpath from Toppesfield Hall or from the main country road.
