Homestead consists of a kitchen/diner with an electric range oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, wine chiller, with dining seating for eight people, sitting room with Smart TV and woodburning stove, utility with washing machine and tumble dryer, snug with woodburning stove, and a games room. The bedrooms consist of 1 superking, 1 twin, and 2 doubles with en-suite, along with a bathroom and ground-floor shower room. Outside, there is a non-enclosed rear garden with patio, lawn, and furniture, plus off-road, driveway parking for two cars and additional parking in nearby car park. Overnight EV charging available. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Within 0.6 miles, you will find a shop, within 0.8 miles, a pub, and within 0.9 miles, a river. There is an Old Town Trail which is a free self-guided walking tour of Chapel's historic centre, featuring the 13th Century Church of St. Thomas Becket, 18th Century Church Brow and the traditional Market Place with stocks and ancient cross.
Just four miles away lies the spa town of Buxton, famous not only for its therapeutic spring water, but also for its Pavilion Gardens and splendid Victorian Opera House, and which boasts a variety of shows, attracting people from all over the world.
A short drive away are an abundance of attractions including the Blue John Cavern, Kinder Scout and the castle at Castleton. There are many stately homes such as Chatsworth House and Lyme Hall all within easy reach.
