Discover the beautiful Salento peninsula from this charming villa, just 10 minutes from the fascinating city of Gallipoli. Villa La Dolce Vita can sleep up to 9 people. With a private pool and walled garden it is an ideal holiday choice for friends or families who want to combine relaxing in the sun with exploring the heel of Italy.

The villa encourages indoor/outdoor living, with a wide veranda that runs around the building. Most of the elegant rooms open onto the veranda and garden. The sitting room (which also serves as a bedroom) is furnished with stylish contemporary sofas. The spacious dining room has a table, an eye-catching corner fireplace and a large flat-screen TV. The main kitchen is next to the dining room. It is well-equipped with a cooker hob, oven, fridge/freezer and Moka coffee maker. There is another dining table in the kitchen for informal snacks. A glass door leads out to the veranda. On the veranda, guests will find an outdoor kitchen which is appointed with a cooker hob, sink, work surfaces and a washing machine.

Steps lead down to the back garden, where guests have exclusive use of the swimming pool.

Sleeping
All bedrooms open onto the veranda.
Bedroom 1: This airy bedroom has a double bed, a single bed and a wardrobe.
Bedroom 2: The second room, which is also used as a living room, has a comfortable double bed with 2 sofas and wardrobe.
Bedroom 3: This modern bedroom has a double bed and extensive storage.
Bedroom 4: A cosy room with two single beds, a wardrobe and a chest of drawers.

Bathrooms
The villa has 3 spacious bathrooms. All are equipped with a shower, basin, bidet and WC. One also has a bathtub with a shower attachment.

Location
The villa is on the western side of Alezio, just 10 minutes from Gallipoli. The town is famous for its wines, which visitors can try in one of the excellent local restaurants.

The coast is less than 10 minutes away. Guests will enjoy relaxing on the Lido San Giovanni (7 minutes) or the beaches at Baia Verde (10 minutes) where there are some lively bars. For an exciting day out, children will enjoy the Splash water park at Rivabella (9 minutes).

Founded by the Greeks in the 5th Century BCE, Gallipoli means “beautiful city” and the town does not disappoint. The ancient city walls soar over the harbour and fishing port. The winding streets in the historical centre are home to impressive palaces and fine Baroque churches.

For self-catering, there are several supermarkets in Alezio, as well as the weekly market (Thursday) where visitors will find the freshest local produce. Gallipoli’s daily fish market in the historic old city, is where you can pick up the freshest catch of the day. Otherwise, the weekly market (Wednesday) in Gallipoli, is another excellent place to find the best regional ingredients.

The closest airport is at Brindisi (55 minutes). Please note that the pool is open from the 1st of May 2025 to the 30th of September 2025
