In this lovingly restored villa dating back to 1867—once the residence of the Royal Forest Steward—a special piece of history awaits you. The historic estate combines original features, such as terrazzo floors, with modern comforts, inviting you to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.





The spacious living and dining area, with its charming tiled stove, forms the heart of the house. In the separate library, you’ll find the perfect retreat for reading or working, equipped with high-speed fiber-optic internet. The stylish, understated decor creates a harmonious atmosphere.





The expansive garden, which is partly for your exclusive use and partly shared, offers plenty of space for relaxation with its mature trees and the majestic Peace Oak. Here you can daydream in the hammock while the children explore nature, or enjoy the garden’s seasonal fruits.





From the villa, you can quickly reach the UNESCO World Heritage Site Wadden Sea and the charming town of Husum. Nature lovers will find plenty to enjoy on mudflat hikes, canoe trips on the Treene River, or kitesurfing. The picturesque town of Friedrichstadt, also known as Little Amsterdam, is also worth a visit.

The vacation home is beautiful! It’s in a great location with a fantastic view and plenty of opportunities for long walks. The furnishings are top-notch and tastefully chosen. The highlights, of course, are the sauna and the fireplace. We’d come back in a heartbeat and highly recommend this place—whether you’re traveling as a couple, with friends, or with family. Everyone feels right at home here.
