Impressive!
My husband and I recently stayed at Heather's beautiful home for 2 nights while passing through the Salmon Arm area.
We were greeted with a personal hand written note book giving instructions to the place and some cookies that hubby said tasted fantastic. This was our first time renting a home through VRBO and didn't know what to expect, but I was very pleased with the cleanliness of Heather's home. An added bonus was her sense of style as it looked professionally decorated. Her kitchen is a chef's dream and I fell in love with her gas stove. We had a good nights sleep on a very comfortable bed in the master bedroom and I loved the rain shower faucet in the ensuite bathroom. The views off the two balconies are beautiful and so are her backyard gardens. The area is very peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed our morning coffee/ tea off the balcony with the view of the lake. There is also a beautiful front patio off the 2nd bedroom with a gas fire-pit.
When we booked the home I had requested an entire home. So our only complaint would be with the VRBO web sight, and not Heather, as we were wanting an entire home to ourselves and Heather lives in the basement suite of the home. VRBO gave the impression from their web site that we were renting an entire home. Though Heather was very respectful and not intrusive, we could still hear everyday sounds like her shower water running and her personal phone calls, etc. If we had some music or if we had the tv turned on, I am sure we wouldn't have heard a thing. Again, it was not super loud or anything, but we were just aware that we were not fully alone. It's still quieter and far better than any hotel that we've stayed in during our vacations.
Even with the VRBO rental glitch, we would highly recommend staying at Heather's home and I had wished we could have stayed there longer. Thank you Heather for sharing your (and what would be our's) dream home!
Beautiful house has everything you need to enjoy summer.
Please note: the hostess lives in the basement suite. There was no note about that. Heather’s car is parked in the front driveway, so it always feels like she is at home.Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Heather’s place. The house is very clean, beautifully decorated and has all the supplies.
Beautiful home, relaxing oasis with a great view of the lake!
We had a wonderful stay. Just wish we had been able to stay longer! Great space for 2 couples or a family of four. Great view of the lake and treed backyard from two separate decks. Another little outdoor oasis from one of the bedrooms. Wonderful, quiet and relaxing stay. We definitely will stay here again and refer our family and friends 😃

Spacious and charming home in Salmon Arm
We stayed only two nights at Arm's Reach but would definitely return if staying in the area again. Heather was quick to respond and very helpful throughout the booking process and she left us a welcome note and scones, along with milk and cream in the fridge when we arrived which was a nice surprise. Roughly 5-10 minute drive into town but great location in a quiet residential area looking over the lake. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating space, comfortable beds, and respectful hosts who we didn't hear below us at all. Overall great stay and lovely home!
Michelle and her friends were the perfect quests. They were very quiet and left my place very clean. I would definitely host them again. Wonderful respectful guests. 😊
What an amazing stay!!!
This place was perfect! The indoor and outdoor space was so inviting and beautifully decorated. There's a huge private backyard, a separate courtyard with a fish pond as well as a balcony and porch. It's has a park-like setting and a great view. A lot of love has gone into this place and you feel it the moment you walk in with its warm, welcoming vibe. I definitely recommend it! Heather was great too! Perhaps she is an interior decorator? I wouldn't be surprised.

Beautiful property and great location
We stayed at Arm's Reach over the weekend and had a wonderful stay. The property was very clean, comfortable and especially charming. Heather, our host, was fabulous and very accommodating. She greeted us in person when we arrived, showed us around and went out of her way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. The location was beautiful and very close to downtown as well as to the lake. Overall, I give this property two thumbs up - will definitely be coming back in the future.
