The villa is perfect. Nothing short of perfect. So It is well looked after and no detail left poorly done or un-cared for.The owners make everything so easy and help in any way they can. Amazing villa!!

A truly wonderful villa. Nothing much to say other than it looks even better than the photos, has everything you need. Comms with Stefani were great, check in/check out super smooth. We loved it. Also Koutouloufari is a lovely little town. Lots of great food and lovely atmosphere and vibe by night. Thanks for a great stay!!

Amazing

Everything about the villa and the host was perfect. The cleanliness was outstanding and the property was amazing. Our host couldn't have been nicer. The location and village were perfect, with plenty of amazing restaurants. I would recommend this to anyone going to Crete.

Perfect Villa in Crete

We stayed at this villa for one week. Everything was perfect (strong ACs, comfortable beds, well-stocked and planned). We really appreciated how responsive Stefani was to any inquiries and concerns. Hersonnissos was also a great base to exploring the entire island. We loved being at the top of the village and being able to walk down for restaurants etc. Highly recommend for a family who wants the comfort of their own villa (and kitchen, laundry, etc).

Amazing property in a lovely area of this beautiful Island

My wife and I stayed at this property for a sunshine break in October. It was a great size for a family of 4 to 6, and we plan to return next summer with our sons and two of their friends. The hosts are lovely and very kind and welcoming. Communications were excellent. The property is lovely - great views, clean and luxurious, well stocked with everything you could need. We have stayed at many villas over the years, and this was one of the best. The local village is perfect - lots of shops, restaurants and a few small supermarkets. We could not have asked for more and we certainly plan to return.

Beautiful villa with outstanding view

We were a family group of 5 adults all over the age of 50 and stayed a week in early May. This villa provided lots of space and all the amenities we could ever desire. The hosts were very responsive and checked a few times by text to make sure we had all we needed. The garden and gounds around the villa are also immaculate. The village of koutouloufari and neighbouring villages provided lots of dining choices within easy walking distance and were charming. The villa had all the utensils and dishes needed to make meals. The locationwas great not being too far from heraklion airport and was a good launching ground to explore the area. The villa is beautiful, spotless and very comfortable. The view is breathtaking and i would gladly have stayed put at the villa all week. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone to stay here.

The Perfect Spot

We cannot say enough postivie things about this villa, our hosts, and our time in Crete. First, Stefani and Antonis are first-class VRBO hosts and ambassadors for Hersonnisos. They helped us at every turn to be informed and comfortable. They were also instrumental in helping our luggage miraculously get back to us after some.major airline drama. The village of Koutouloufari - what can you say? Authentic, fun, charming, and then some.... We loved the view overlooking the coast, the pool was the perfect balance to our beach time, and we had a great anchor as we explored the island. We will definitely return!

A beautiful villa with a view!

What a lovely villa! The house and the outdoor space is not only beautiful but functional and worked perfectly for our family. The second floor balcony was an unexpected delight. The kitchen is well stocked and the outdoor grill allowed us to cook a couple of delicious meals. Although we didn't use the television the living room was well-appointed and very pleasant to lounge around. The beds are comfortable with lovely linens. Stefani, the host, was attentive (when we needed anything) and kind. Housekeeping was a surprise inclusion and a real treat to come home from a long hike in one of the famous Crete gorges and have the house refreshed. Everything is impeccably clean and the thoughtful incidentals like charcoal for the grill, sunscreen, a beach tote bag, etc. were convenient and appreciated. We rented a car and highly recommend having one in Crete but if you simply want to enjoy the sunshine and the pool--it is possible to walk to the small town which has a few restaurants and a small grocery. Another recommendation, is contacting Stephani prior to your arrival to heat the pool so it will be ready depending upon the time of year and your tolerance. With the car, we found the location of the villa perfect. Just the right amount of seclusion for quiet nights but a quick drive to the grocery store and the beach. Thank you, Stefani for your hospitality and our truly comfortable stay.

We loved our stay at this beautiful property! The spacious house is very stylish, immaculate, well equipped with upscale amenities and kitchenware, and in a terrific location. It sits atop a hill within five minutes walking distance of the heart of the Koutouloufari village, with several cute restaurants and shops. It’s a relaxing retreat with a lovely outdoor space and pretty views of the sea. The hosts were communicative and very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!!

Lovely stay with a beautiful view

We absolutely LOVED our stay. We have been to Greece three times and Crete twice and this was our favorite trip. The location is wonderful. You're within walking distance (3-5 minutes tops) to a nearby village that has several tavernas and shops but the villa is actually quite private. We loved having air conditioning but the pool was the real star of the villa. We paid extra to heat it and found that to be a great decision (the last time we were in Crete it was quite windy and we were cold when in the pool at a different location). Stefani was easily accessible upon check-in and checked in on us regularly to see if we needed anything. This place is a gem. Thank you, Stefani!

Outstanding Property

Villa Seaview is a fabulous villa, true to the pictures shown. The owner Stafani is so lovely and helpful. Stafani kindly did some shopping for us before we arrived. Also, on our last day, she offered us the villa next door to relqx in as our flight was so late. There are many excellent restaurants a short walk from the villa and Stefani's recommendations ended up being our favourite. The beach is a 20 min pleasant walk from the vills, where you can hire sun beds for the day. Plenty to do and see in the area. All in all, a fantastic holiday. Thank you Stafani!!!

A little bit of heaven on Crete

This house is at the top of the hill, and offers spectacular views of the Aegian sea. The pool offered welcome relief after a day of exploring nearby sites. The adjacent town is an easy downhill walk, and there are many great restaurant choices. The uphill home will burn a few calories, but is welcome after a big meal. Stefani was a gracious hostess and made sure that we had everything that we needed. We would definitely rent again!

Family holiday

We will be back, defiantly the best property we have ever stayed in. The host, stefani is just the friendliest person, and is so helpful with tips about the area, and places to go. Koutoulafari is also a wonderful location. The only negative thing to say, is that we didn’t stay long enough. Thanks again stefani, see you soon

Beautiful House, Beautiful View!

The property was a little difficult to find, but worth it! If you're looking to stay in the Hersonissos area, this is perfect! It's tucked away in a quiet part of Koutouloufari with really wonderful views! The village nearby has very reasonably priced food, drinks, and cafes, plus a couple small stores for groceries. The house itself is very large and modern and was perfect for our large group. The bedrooms were great and each one had a balcony with a great view to wake up to. With the obvious exception of food, Stefani provided us with everything we needed. She even arranged to get a birthday cake and champagne and made an emergency run for toilet paper for us! She also arranged for a cleaning during our stay, which was very much appreciated! The pool is very nice, but was a little chilly. It can be heated, but you'll need to request it in advance. The patio was quite large and the picnic table was perfect for our outdoor party. The only thing that wasn't perfect was that the range on the wifi was a bit limited. You were fine on the main floor and part of the patio, but upstairs and most of the outdoor area had little to no signal. Danke für alles Stefani!

Unforgettable!

I can't say enough compliments for Stefani and her gorgeous place! The pictures don't do a justice to what you will find in her meticulously decorated villa with everything you need for an unforgettable vacation. It is perfectly located on a high point for an incredible view, right above the cutest traditional greek village which is only a few steps away and provides the most authentic greek experience - with its local taverns and shops. But it's also a 5 minutes drive to Hersonisos town, where you will find all the action you crave, with bars, clubs and beach restaurants. It's really the best of both words! The villa itself was perfectly comfortable with everything brand new, and having our own pool with sunbeds with such a luxury! Stefani was also kind enough to make our stay as easy as possible by stocking our fridge with a list of groceries prior to arrival and arranging airport transfers. Overall - best home rental experience so far, me and my friends are already planning a trip back!

Wonderful way to relax and experience Crete

Our family of 5 stayed at Villa Seaview for a week and had a wonderful time. It is conveniently located close to a village with many great restaurants and shops. We had a car and found it very easy to make day trips from the villa to a variety of towns and places of interest. Stefani was a gracious hostess who was so helpful and accommodating. The villa itself is amazing, with a great view and lots of space. We would love to return.

Koutouloufari is a village of roughly 600 inhabitants on the slope of Mt Pyrgias at an altitude of 100 metres. It is 29 kilometres east of Heraklion and less than 1,000 metres from coastal Hersonissos.
Koutouloufari with its narrow paved streets and old Cretan houses attracts those who want to spend their holidays in the busiest tourist area in Crete - which stretches from Heraklion to Agios Nikolaos, offering many beaches, attractions, sights and activities and is near archaeological sites such as Knossos and Malia - but who prefer to stay in a quiet environment with a traditional flavour and a lovely view of the Sea of Crete.
In Koutouloufari you will find old stone houses with arches and traditional cafes, Tavernes and small stores.
