This house borders Watch Hill. You hear the ocean at night and you are one mile from the beach. The home has three bedrooms and sleeps 6-8. One bedroom has a trundle bed and you need two sets of full sheets, and two sets of queen sheets for the other two bedrooms, due to covid 19. Also due to the virus please bring your own towels.

The ocean Breeze keeps the house cool and I’ve never had to put central air in. The bedrooms have AC. Three living rooms, two kitchens, a dining room, 1.5 baths, an outdoor shower, an in ground pool.

The in law apt is not available. This has a separate entrance and My sister or I may be in and out sporadically ( We usually stay at a friends beach house) and you will not know we are there, usually we are not.

We could be out of town on any day. Do not loose key. It’s best to leave it on nail when you’re there or when you are out, and after stay

Great location. Spacious home.

The owner, Nicholas was very helpful and got back to us with any questions we had very quickly. His sister was staying in the above apartment and we really didn’t even know she was there. Pool was great, but is not heated (something to keep in mind when it is a little cooler on some summer days). The house was roomy, with 3 bedrooms upstairs and spacious TV room. A five-minute drive to a great beach in Watch Hill and close to town. There is a serene nature reserve within walking distance. The owner left a detailed binder with lots of excellent suggestions to restaurants etc. Our only issues were, you could smell dog in the main larger bedroom, especially on the chaise lounge and on the pillows in the TV room my allergies kicked in, as I got dog hair on my clothes etc. Also, the air conditioner to one of the bedrooms is plugged into the only full bathroom in the house, so you can’t completely close the bathroom door unless you unplug that room’s air conditioner. The air-conditioners are only in the bedrooms and there are ceiling fans throughout the rest of the house which was enough to keep the house cool except on extremely hot days. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

Lovely pool and outdoor spaces, great location

We (4 adults, 3 kids) stayed in this house while visiting family in Watch Hill. The location was fabulous--close to downtown Watch Hill and the beloved carousel yet an easy drive to Westerly grocery stores and other shops. The pool was lovely and enjoyed immensely by our kids. The outdoor space was large with tons of seating. We had our extended family over for dinner and sat everyone comfortably outside. There was also plenty of room for everyone to play games or watch TV in the living room adjacent to the pool. These were the highlights of the house and the reason we would consider staying in this home again although we would love to see some changes that would improve the stay. You definitely feel like you are staying in someone else's home and not in a designated vacation rental (lots of clothes in the drawers and closets, food in the fridge upon arrival, products in the bathroom, etc). The attached apartment can get awkward as the walls are not soundproof. We were short on towels upon arrival but the owner's extended family (owner was out of town) was very responsive and brought us more quickly. Despite the changes suggested above, we were extremely grateful to find the house because of the pool and that they were willing to rent for less than a week. Thank you! We will likely be back!
