About Larry and Sally Priske
Sally, my wife and I moved to Galena in 1974. We bought an old miners cottage, made some restorations and sold it in 1985. We built a new home on the 120 acres where we currently reside, and in 1989 built a second house on the property (Pine nHollow), to operate as a guest house, which we did for 23 years. We have since upgraded many aspects of the home and entered the home into VRBO in 2020. We are originally from Dayton Ohio. I worked for John Deere Tractor, while Sally operated the guest house.
Larry and Sally Priske purchased this House in 1989
Why Larry and Sally Priske chose Galena
This home, known as Pine Hollow received its name from a Christmas Tree Farm that we operated during the 80's and 90's. It is a charming cottage home that is located in a beautiful parklike setting, surrounded by wildlife and much of the beauty that nature offers. The location, the seclusion, the close location to Galena, makes it a wonderful choice for visitors. The home is laid out very well and offers guests not only a secluded home site, but also to there possible choosing, spacious bed rooms offering comforts of home in each suite.
What makes this House unique
There is not another property like this that affords guests all the comforts of home, secluded on 120 acres of timber, and yet only one mile to Galena and all the amenities of the area. This is truly a nature lovers paradise.
