Beau Vista Pohora - views to die for!

Welcome to Beau Vista Pohara, a fully self-contained holiday studio in the heart of New Zealand’s Golden Bay and Abel Tasman region.

The studio adjoins the owners’ home yet is a completely independent retreat with its own private entrance, balcony and parking, ensuring full guest privacy.

Walk out to your private deck from the studio, relax and enjoy the view, and dine alfresco.

This award-winning, architecturally designed home is less than two minutes’ drive (or a healthy 15-minute walk) from Pohara Beach. The beach slopes gently and is ideal for children.

Close by are a camp store with a wide range of goods and services, tennis courts, a slipway for small boats, and spectacular limestone cliffs popular with rock-climbers.

Within ten minutes’ drive are Tarakohe marina with a launching ramp for larger boats, the golden sands of Tata Beach and Ligar Bay, a nine-hole golf course, and Takaka township for shopping.

Restaurants, cafés and bars include Molly B’s, The Nikau, Al Forno Pizzeria, and Ratanui Lodge, plus a takeaway shop and a coffee-and-pastry cart outside Aroha Health Spa, where you can also enjoy massages and other spa treatments.

Really nice views. Tidy and comfortable.

We had great communication from the hosts, and finding the property and checking in was easy. Although the weather wasn't great, the view over golden bay remained captivating. The studio was tidy and comfortable. Thanks Shelley and Steve.

Great location and view. Clean and tidy well equipped flat. Friendly very helpful hosts. We forgot a few items in the flat and the host was very helpful and sent them back to us. Peaceful and quiet. Can to recommend this place to others.

Very comfortable space for a couple. Tidy. Host was helpful and friendly. Small thing is the bathroom shower is not enclosed to it gets very wet after a shower. Living area arrangement could be accomodated to let the tv be watched from the bed perhaps. Otherwise great handy place to stay at Thank you

Stunning view, great rooms, large kitchen.

Stunning view, great rooms, large kitchen. Nice spacious, modern home. A few more kitchen basics could be a nice touch (tea, coffee, serving platters). We weren't expecting there to be an adjoined Air BnB apartment (although we realised after it briefly mentions in listing description). Perhaps this could be made more clear upon booking request. It was booked with families on both nights of our stay, but way up other end of house so didn't affect us much :) Overall a great stay, would recommend!
