The Bungalow in Barwon Heads
Your perfect family holiday awaits at this charming property in the main street of Barwon Heads - The Bungalow. With three bedrooms, plus a bungalow out the back, this great property can sleep up to seven guests, ideal for one or two families, or multiple couples.
Step outside and the shops of Barwon Heads are a quick stroll down the road, the beach is a 5-minute walk away and the Barwon Heads Community Park is almost literally across the road!
This Californian bungalow style home has that really inviting 'beach house' vibe! It's stylish in its furnishings, it's a cosy space and it's really well equipped. Property highlights are most definitely the wood fire in the lounge and the back deck that looks out over the large, well-maintained yard and includes outdoor furniture and a dining space with BBQ. There's plenty of room for the kids to play with lots of yard space plus a trampoline.
There are three bedrooms, plus a bungalow out the back. There is one bathroom with toilet and shower over bath, plus an additional toilet that is attached to the external laundry. The laundry has both a washing machine and dryer. There is parking available within the front yard/driveway for up to four cars.
Aside from the lovely wood fire for those chilly winter nights, we also have split system heating/cooling in the main living area plus additional free-standing fans in the bedrooms.
Quality bed linen and towels are supplied however we suggest you BYO your beach towels.
BED CONFIGURATION:
Bedroom 1: double bed
Bedroom 2: bunk bed plus single bed
Bedroom 3: queen sized bed - this room opens out to the back deck.
Bungalow: queen sized bed
It's important to note that there is only one bathroom, please keep this in mind when booking, whilst the property can sleep 7 guests, if may be better suited to smaller groups.
- Guests must be over the age of 25 to book this property
- We do not allow schoolies, hens/bucks or parties of any type
- This is a quiet neighbourhood, we appreciate guests respecting our quiet times
- We do not supply firewood or kindling - guests can purchase this from the Apco service station just around the corner.
Keys are located in a key lock box, access details are provided within 24 hours of your stay.
We like to give our guests space to enjoy their stay however we are close by if you need us.
GENERAL: All bookings are accepted on the basis that you have read, understood, and agree to abide, and be bound, by the Terms and Conditions and House Rules. Please treat our home as if it were your own. Please be respectful to our lovely neighbours. Strictly NO smoking at this property. Our home is NOT suitable for schoolies, hens or bucks parties. You must be over the age to 25 to make reservation at our property. Please follow parking guidelines where provided.
CHECK IN/ OUT: Check-in time is not before 3pm on the arrival date and check out time is not later than 10am on departure date. Late departure is subject to prior arrangement/availability and extra charges will apply. Failure to check out at the agreed time will incur a fee of $110 per hour.
Check in and check out, contactless check in will be provided with key safe codes. Keys must be returned to the key safe upon checking out. If the keys are not placed back in the lock box a management fee will apply for us to allow housekeeping staff access to the property and if required replacement of keys.
Pet Friendly Properties: We ask you to be considerate of the property owner and employ good pet etiquette. BYO sleeping and feeding equipment, leaving the yard free of any animal waste, ensuring the pets stay outside unless prior arranged and always off furniture. Please note: A pet fee will apply for these stays.
UNAVAILABLITY: If the property becomes unavailable for your occupancy due to unforeseen circumstances (eg. fire, storm, damage, etc) then we will inform you immediately and endeavour to obtain suitable alternative accommodation for your stay, if we are unable to do so, all money paid will be refunded in full. Host on the coast will not be liable for additional accommodation costs in the event of these unforseen unavoidable circumstances.
PARTIES & FUNCTIONS: Parties are strictly prohibited. Breach of this will result in immediate eviction without refund and extra charges will apply for any additional, cleaning, garbage removal, repairs which may ocurr. We have the right to evict any guest during their stay if WE deem them to be in breach of the house rules.
LINEN AND TOWELS: We supply all bed linen and towels. They must be left where supplied in the bedrooms or bathroom on departure. Further linen may be hired upon request prior to arrival. Properties with pools will include pool towels for your stay. Any damage or stains requiring additional laundering or replacement of linen will incur a charge or replacement fee. Stays longer than 1 week may request a housekeeping service for cleaning and/or linen servicing charged at a fee.
YOUR OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: You are responsible for damage, breakages, theft and loss of the property and any part of it during your stay. You must notify us of this immediately if damages occur. We may recover from you repair or replacement costs. Occupancy must not exceed the agreed number booked for or the maximum listed as occupancy in the house description. Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise at anytime (day or night), is prohibited and may result in termination and eviction without refund and extra charges may be made for security and other expenses. Noise should not be heard from outside the property after 10pm.
Call outs: Lost keys/lock outs will incur a $100 call out fee for management to provide access plus the cost of replacement keys if required.
Upon departure, all food must be removed from fridges, all rubbish put in the appropriate council rubbish bins provided, crockery and cutlery washed and packed away, dishwasher emptied. If there is a BBQ onsite, it must be cleaned after use, failure will incur a $100 fee. You are responsible for removing any excess rubbish that does not fit in the outside bins. Excess rubbish charges will apply for any rubbish that is left behind (exceeds rubbish bin capacity). The Property must be left in a clean and tidy condition. Extra cleaning charges will be incurred for the cleaning (but not limited to) of dirty dishes, dishwasher emptying, emptying the fridge, removal of excessive rubbish and so forth. All furniture and furnishings must be left in the position they were in when you arrived. Smoking is not permitted in the Property. A $400 fee will be applied to any property found to have been smoked in. No illicit drugs to be brought onto the property or persons under the influence to be allowed onto the property. You must allow repair/service access to the property during reasonable hours. Host on the Coast is not liable for any damage or loss of property during your stay.
